Prayer in Times of Transition and Change
You probably are experiencing a prolonged period of change in your life. And it can be difficult to cope with it all alone. But with the Lord at your side, you can look forward to a greater outcome on the other side.
Don’t allow yourself to feel overwhelmed. Place your trust in the Lord and seek His advice and guidance. For we know that He is able to make all things work together for our good!
Prayer In Times Of Change
Mighty Everlasting Father, everything is changing around me, Oh God: my life, my circumstances and even the world.
But, Oh Lord, my God, help me to not fear this change. Rather, may I embrace it as I embrace You daily. Give me strength to rise above every situation and overcome the darkness.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Dealing With Temptations, Change, Storms And Struggles
Temptations, and storms and struggles are thrown at me constantly as I have decided to seek You and become so close and wrapped up in Your holy presence.
Grant me joy where there is sadness. Bless me with faith where there is no hope. Shower me with light in the midst of the darkness. But most of all, give me peace within the chaos.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Being Still Amidst These Life Changes
These changes in my life baffle me at times, my God. Let me be still and remember who is the author. Lord, You mold it all together for my betterment.
And therefore, I trust that things will work out according to Your will and plan for my life.
For in the end, I will be able to say: “Thank You, Jesus, for bringing me thus far… I now understand why I had to go through this and to You I am eternally grateful.” In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen and Amen!
Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
