- Everyone wants to belong.
- Everyone wants to be liked.
- Yes, everyone wants to be included.
Rejection is one of the demons that make it hard for us to move to the next level in our lives. Satan knows what consumes us, what controls us.
Therefore, the more consumed we are with rejection, the more the enemy can control our emotions, our thinking and our actions. It’s good to acknowledge the hurt, but don’t see it as a permanent hindrance.
Move on from the source of the rejection. Don’t let it shut you down. It’s time to overcome.
Replace the negative thoughts that will hinder you. Replace them with praises to God, who will deliver you.
Take every rejection as a re-direction which will help refine you. Now, instead of growing weary from being rejected, trust in the Lord and take it as His way of telling us “WRONG CHOICE!!!”. Most importantly, ask for strength to keep moving on.
Prayer when feeling rejected
Heavenly Father, I thank you for you are a God of mercy and compassion and there is none like you.
I lift up my heart and voice in prayer to you. You have experienced rejection, anxiety, persecution, loneliness and you understand all I am going through.
John 1:11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.
Luke 6:22 “Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!”
I thank you for the closed doors. I thank you for not allowing me to settle for less.
Lord, I understand now that each time a door closes and each time I am told NO, it is simply your way of protecting me against that which is not good for me. Thanks for making me an overcomer!
Overcoming those feelings of depression
Father, there are times when I feel frustrated and depression starts creeping in. Give me peace and strength Lord, to press on and not complain.
Grant me wisdom needed to understand at all times that every disappointment is a blessing in disguise.
Breaking the spirit of rejection
In the name of Jesus, I break that spirit of rejection. I break and destroy completely the stranglehold of the spirit of rejection.
With the Lord Jesus beside me, I will fight the battle of good faith. “Blessed be the Lord my strength, who prepares my hands for war, and my fingers to fight.”
Praise be to you lord who has not rejected my prayers and withheld your love from me. I know You love me. You are for me, and I absolutely can trust You with all of my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Psalm 27:10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord will take me in.
Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
