Prayer – Obstacles To Your Prayers Are Being Removed!

Without you even knowing, obstacles to your prayers are being torn down. You have been to the Lord in prayer some time now. Your prayer may be very similar to this one:

“I am struggling to find employment. I lost my job months ago and I’ve submitted countless applications and have been to several interviews. But no luck.”

God Is Opening Doors

God is opening doors and preparing the way for you. He’s going to reveal things to you. His blessings on your life are going to spring forth as you have never seen before.

1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.”

Luke 11:9-10 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”

I Knew That Was God!

We cannot begin to comprehend or conceive what God has prepared for us. When we ask for a blessing, there is no need to tell God how to fulfil your blessings. Allow him to work, in mysterious ways in your life. 

Have you ever said these words? “Sometimes I just look up, smile, and say, I know that was you, God! Thanks!”

Many Are Ungrateful

In some instances God may use you to remove someone else’s obstacle or to be their channel of blessing. When this happens, you will be frustrated and even angry and disappointed that they do not return to give you thanks. But only 1 in 10 would remember to give thanks. 

When Jesus healed the 10 lepers in Luke 17:11-19, only one of them returned, praising God for his healing, and he was not even a Jew! 

Luke 17:15-18 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?”

In the same way, do you remember to give God thanks and to give him the glory when you receive blessings? Or are you like the 9 lepers who just went their way?

Let Us Pray – Obstacles To Your Prayers Are Being Removed!

O Lord, my God, I come before You with an expectant heart, knowing that You hear me when I call. I am confident that You are removing every obstacle that stands in the way of my prayers. I trust that Your perfect will is being accomplished in my life.

At times, it may seem like my prayers are falling on deaf ears, but I am reassured by Your Word, which tells me that You hear my cries and You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. I trust in Your timing and in Your infinite wisdom.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

Isaiah 65:24 Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.

Trusting In God’s Timing

Dear Heavenly Father, as I walk through life, I am often faced with challenges and obstacles. These obstacles can sometimes cause me to question Your timing and Your plans for my life. But today, I choose to trust in Your timing.

I believe that You are removing the obstacles to my prayers and that Your perfect timing will bring about the best outcome for my life. Strengthen my faith, Lord, and help me to be patient as I wait for Your perfect timing.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Habakkuk 2:3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

Patience In Waiting

Oh Lord, I pray for patience in waiting for the answers to my prayers. I understand that Your ways are higher than my ways and Your thoughts than my thoughts. I pray that as I wait on You, I will be strengthened in my faith, becoming more like Jesus in the process.

Help me to trust in You and not lean on my own understanding. Guide my steps, Lord, and let Your will be done in my life.

Psalm 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

Isaiah 55:9 As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Faith To Overcome Obstacles

Abba Father, I thank You that barriers and obstacles are being removed from my path. Even when I don’t see it, I believe You are working. Lord, increase my faith to trust in Your promises, even when circumstances seem contrary.

Let my faith rise above the storms and challenges that I face. Let me be confident in knowing that with You, all things are possible.

Oh Lord, as I submit my prayers to You, I trust that You are removing every hindrance, every obstacle that stands in the way. I believe in Your promise that You hear me and that You are answering my prayers. I stand in faith, knowing that Your timing is perfect, and that Your plans for me are of good and not of evil. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Mark 11:23 Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
