Prayer – My God Is More Than Enough!

Life’s pressures are heavy on you. You are hit really hard. When you are down and nearly out, and when nothing at all seems to be working, God Is More Than Enough.

You’ve just had a break-up. You’ve lost your job. When your business has gone bad, and you’ve lost everything, God Is More Than Enough.

When all else fails, God is your portion and your reward. When people forget you and forsake you, God has you in the palms of His hands, and your broken walls are always before Him.

When your health is discouraging, and the doctor gives a bad report, by His stripes you are healed.

When love turns to hate, God’s unconditional love shields you and He awaits with great longing to hear your voice each day. God is really more than enough.

Isaiah 49:15 – [And the Lord answered] Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you.

And in Isaiah 49:16 – See, I have written your name on my hand. Ever before me is a picture of Jerusalem’s walls in ruins.

And, even if God is not going to give you what you want right now…even if He is not going to heal you now, even if your marriage is not going to get better now or ever, He alone is enough. In good health and in sickness, in riches and in poverty, in rejoicing and in sorrow, God’s presence will ALWAYS be with you.

He will shield you with His love and faithfulness. The presence of challenges doesn’t negate the presence of God. God won’t leave you because you are in debt or in a bad marriage.

The psalmist says, “When my heart is overwhelmed within me. Lead me to a rock that is higher than  I am. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy.”– Psalm 61:2&3

It is also written, The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.— Proverbs 18:10

And the apostle James writes, Is anyone among you in trouble? let him say prayers. Is anyone glad? let him make a song of praise. –James 5:13

Such uncomfortable times, are times for believers to lay at the feet of the Almighty, and in the arms of the Comforter, to pour out their hearts and feelings, to give praise and to worship, and to wait in the presence of God. And renew their strength.

Let Us Pray

God, My Provider

Heavenly Father, You who own the cattle on a thousand hills, You are more than enough for me. Dear Lord, You are the richest treasure that I can possess both in life and in death. I can lose everything in this life and still be fulfilled in You. Lord, You are more than enough for me.

Yahweh Jireh, my Provider, thank You for Your promise to supply all my needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Your provision extends beyond my physical needs to my spiritual and emotional well-being. In Your providence, I am assured that my God, You are more than enough.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.

Peace Amidst the Storm

In moments of turmoil, I remember Your calming voice, Jesus, that hushed the storms with a simple “Peace, be still.” In You, I find a refuge that withstands any tempest, affirming that my God, You are more than enough.

No matter what comes my way, I will praise Your name. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me, and, You are enough.

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Mark 4:39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Guidance Through the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, be my guiding light in times of confusion and uncertainty. In trusting and acknowledging You, my paths are made straight, showing me once more that my God, You are more than enough.

Oh Lord, Your love and care is genuine, reliable and everlasting. Your guidance never misguides or fails. The comfort of Your Spirit can take me through anything. There  is amazing hope in Your word. You are more than enough.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Gratitude and Praise to God

As I reflect on Your goodness and faithfulness, my heart overflows with gratitude. I will recount all Your wonderful deeds and give You thanks. My lips will proclaim that my God, You are more than enough.

Oh Lord, You are precious to me. You are precious more than silver and gold. You are precious than life itself. When I have You, I have more than enough.

For all that you bless me with, for your peace, love, joy, and understanding, I give you praise and thanks. To God be the glory. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Psalm 9:1 I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.

Isaiah 40:31 But they, who wait for the LORD, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
