Prayer Against The Spirit Of Rejection
Rejection is one of the demons that make it hard for us to move to the next level in our lives. Satan knows what consumes us, what controls us.
- Everyone wants to belong.
- Everyone wants to be liked.
- Yes, everyone wants to be included.
Therefore, the more consumed we are with rejection, the more the enemy can control our emotions, our thinking and our actions. It’s good to acknowledge the hurt, but don’t see it as a permanent hindrance.
Move on from the source of the rejection. Don’t let it shut you down. It’s time to overcome. Replace the negative thoughts that will hinder you. Replace them with praises to God, who will deliver you.
Take every rejection as a re-direction which will help refine you. Now, instead of growing weary from being rejected, trust in the Lord and take it as His way of telling us “WRONG CHOICE!!!”. Most importantly, ask for strength to keep moving on.
Prayer When Feeling Rejected
Heavenly Father, I thank you for you are a God of mercy and compassion and there is none like you.
I lift up my heart and voice in prayer to you. You have experienced rejection, anxiety, persecution, loneliness and you understand all I am going through. I thank you for the closed doors. I thank you for not allowing me to settle for less.
Lord, I understand now that each time a door closes and each time I am told NO, it is simply your way of protecting me against that which is not good for me. Thanks for making me an overcomer!

Empowered To Reject Rejection
Oh Lord, You have not given me a spirit of timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Empower me to stand against the spirit of rejection that seeks to diminish me. Let me stand firm in Your love, declaring that I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me.
Equip me, oh Lord, with Your armor, that I may stand against the wiles of the enemy. Whenever feelings of rejection creep in, let me counter them with the knowledge of my identity in You.
2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
Breaking the Chains of Rejection
Abba Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I come against the spirit of rejection that tries to grip my heart and mind. It is not of You. Your Word says that You will never leave nor forsake me.
Therefore, I refuse to let feelings of rejection determine my worth or dictate my decisions. The enemy seeks to sow seeds of doubt and insecurity, making me feel unloved and unwanted. But today, I choose to stand firm in Your truth.
I declare that every root of rejection in my life is uprooted. I break every chain, renounce every lie, and choose to walk in the freedom of Your love. With You by my side, I am more than a conqueror.
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
Overcoming Those Feelings Of Depression
Heavenly Father, there are times when I feel frustrated and depression starts creeping in. Give me peace and strength Lord, to press on and not complain. Grant me wisdom needed to understand at all times that every disappointment is a blessing in disguise.
Gift me, O Lord, with the discernment to perceive the silver linings within every cloud of disappointment. Remind me that the trials I endure are not just burdens to bear, but catalysts that spark growth and transformation within my spirit.
Through Your infinite wisdom, help me comprehend that every challenge I face is an opportunity for Your divine intervention – a testament of Your boundless love and Your grand plan for me.
May I learn to see every disappointment as an unveiling of blessings yet to come, a prelude to the victories that Your divine grace holds in store for me.
Psalm 42:5 – Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Healing from Past Hurts
Heavenly Father, I realize that some wounds of rejection go deep, stemming from past experiences and unresolved hurts. Whether it’s a childhood memory, a broken relationship, or a recent event, I lay each painful experience at the foot of the cross, asking for Your healing touch.
Wash over my memories, Lord. Replace the hurt with Your peace and comfort. Let the places that were once scarred by rejection be sites of newfound strength and grace. Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation and renew a right spirit within me.
Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Isaiah 61:7 Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.
Breaking The Spirit Of Rejection
In the name of Jesus, I break that spirit of rejection. I break and destroy completely the stranglehold of the spirit of rejection. With the Lord Jesus beside me, I will fight the battle of good faith. “Blessed be the Lord my strength, who prepares my hands for war, and my fingers to fight.”
Praise be to you lord who has not rejected my prayers and withheld your love from me. I know You love me. You are for me, and I absolutely can trust You with all of my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I’ve been in the intermittent throes of rejection from marriage seperation for over a year now. Moreover, at this point I don’t want to ever make contact with my wife ever again unless God supernaturally tells me in a vision, dream, etc. to do so. However, if she were to make contact of her own accord I woun’t reject her. Therefore, if you would please intercede on me & my wife behalf as to what His will be because I don’t know how I can persevere the rest of my life being tormented by the spirit of rejection.

I can’t stop this feeling of rejection. I have been long term unemployed about 3 times in my life and I am about to be made redundant. I can’t face the rejection involved in a job search again. I am single and celibate waiting for God for marriage and to have children, but its been 22 years now and I am 45. I have been rejected by men for wanting to wait until marriage. Then I thought I was about to meet someone and go on my first date in over 20 years and he was saying he liked me and wanted to meet me. We arranged to meet and then nothing. He vanished. I know everyone will say wrong man, but I liked him and just wanted a date. One day to feel special and wanted by another human. I am lost, alone and lonely. I have suicidal thoughts and while I know God is there I struggle to want to go on and feel the power in the His words and these prayers.

God is a God who loves and protects us. I love it when I read when people reject us, it’s God’s way of saying “wrong choice.” All along I kept telling God that he was ignoring me/my prayers. Yet, throughout my situation he was steadily opening and closing doors and guiding me. May I never doubt God’s love, compassion and faithfulness toward me ever again. He’s just that amazing. My heart hurts, but I know God is healing and there is a lesson to be learned.

Is it an error of semantics?
In Ephesians 6:12(KJV) it says:
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Also, 1 Timothy 4:1(NKJV) teaches:
4 Now the Spirit [a]expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons…
Anything that tells us as believers that we are not worthy of God’s love because of our past or that we are so “sin sick” that we’re unlovable will cause us to walk away from God instead of running towards him. With that said, how we interact with people many times is a direct reflection of how we interact with our Heavenly Father. Feeling rejected by the Father will make us interpret (and project) that we are not worthy to be loved.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. If you understand the meaning and power of that verse, it would answer your question.
