Oh God Almighty, giver of light, salvation-making God, all honor to you. With you on our side, who shall we fear?
You give us strength, might, power. You disperse the enemy even as they lie in wait for us.
In perilous times, when everything seems dark, we have the assurance that you are indeed the light. And by faith, we will be brought to the other side, victorious.
Psalms 27 :1-3 The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
Walking boldly, fearing no evil
Sometimes, oh Lord, your servants seem outnumbered. But, the bigger the enemy, the greater your Glory shines through.
Your Word manifests that all things work together for good for those that love the Lord. And so we can walk boldly through the valley of the shadow of death, and fear no evil. You are with us all along the way.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
2 Cor 4:6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Praying for strength and wisdom
Praise be onto you! We seek after Your Glory, forsaking everything that may hinder our walk with you. Give us the strength and wisdom to do your will, and to manifest your Glory to the lost of this wretch world.
May the peace you fill us with, overflow and bless others, such that they would yearn to come to a full understanding of you! In Jesus’ mighty and all-powerful name we pray… Amen!
Psalms 27:4,5 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion. In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me. He shall set me up upon a rock.
