Prayer To Expect The Impossible!
Are you facing a mountain of impossibility? Have you been going through so much for a long time, that you wonder if things will ever get better? Whether it is health, relationships, or debt, know that we serve a great God! Nothing is impossible for God to do in your life. Doors are opening, hurdles are being removed.
Jeremiah 32:27 “ I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing will be impossible.”
The Lord your God is a God of impossibilities. Expect the impossible. He makes wolves and sheep to live together in peace, and leopards to lie down with young goats. Even calves will feed together with lion cubs. This is impossible! Yet the Lord says He will do it.
There is nothing God can not, and will not, do for you. If He did not spare His only Son (the most precious thing He had), but freely gave Him up to die for you, what else will He not give You?
Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Let Us Pray
Embracing The God Of Possibilities
Infinite and Mighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, I come before You today with awe and reverence. You, who spoke the universe into existence, hold all power and possibilities in Your hands. I confess, Lord, that there are times when I limit You with my lack of faith, forgetting that there is nothing too hard for You.
Father, I stand on the brink of my human understanding, looking out into the vast expanse of the impossible. Yet, with You, Lord, I know that the impossible does not exist. You are the One who parts seas, brings down walls, raises the dead, and calms storms. As I face mountains of impossibility, I pray that You would bolster my faith and help me embrace Your limitless power.
Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’
Jeremiah 32:17 ‘Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.’
Faith to Believe in the Impossible
Heavenly Father, I know it is my faith that bridges the gap between the possible and the impossible. And yet, so often, my faith wavers, overcome by the size and scale of the challenges in front of me. I ask You now, Lord, to give me the faith of a mustard seed, to believe in the impossible because I believe in You.
As Abraham believed that he would be a father of many nations, as Moses believed that he could lead the Israelites out of Egypt, as David believed that he could defeat Goliath, may I, too, believe in Your promises, no matter how impossible they may seem. Lord, instill in me a spirit of expectancy that waits with bated breath to see Your power unleashed.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Mark 9:23 ‘If you can?’ said Jesus. ‘Everything is possible for one who believes.’
Nothing Is Too Hard
Dear Lord, is there anything too hard for You? You spoke worlds into existence. You flung stars into space. You set boundaries for the sea. You have a covenant with the sun. From generation to generation You remain the same.
Lord, today as I wait on You, I am expecting impossibilities. Your word says You can do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask You or imagine. Please come and give life and hope to my situation.
Come and do what only you can do. Revive my finances and make a way out of debt. Bring restoration in my marriage and relationships. Give me good health again. In the name of Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because You have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’”
Courage To Pursue The Impossible
Lord, the One who grants victory, it is one thing to believe in the impossible and quite another to pursue it. The fear of failure, of ridicule, of the unknown, often holds me back. Yet, You have not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. I pray for courage, Lord, to step out in faith, to pursue the impossible because I follow a God who specializes in impossibilities.
Father, let me walk confidently towards the dreams and visions You’ve planted in my heart, no matter how audacious they might seem. Just as Peter stepped out onto the stormy waters, help me to fix my eyes on You and step out into the impossible, trusting that You will uphold me.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Prayer For Miracles And Breakthroughs
God of Miracles, as I face the impossible, I pray for Your divine intervention. I ask You to do what only You can do – to perform miracles, to bring breakthroughs, to show Your glory. Lord, let Your mighty power flow through my circumstances, bringing about the impossible, the unimaginable, the extraordinary.
Dear Lord, let the impossibilities in my life become testimonies of Your power. Let every mountain be moved, every chain be broken, every closed door be opened. By faith, I expect the impossible, for I serve a God who does exceedingly, abundantly above all that I can ask or think.
Luke 18:27 Jesus replied, ‘What is impossible with man is possible with God.’
Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
Doing The Impossible
Lord, today as I wait on You, I will not faint. Strengthen me that my faith will not fail. May I not grow weary. As I fix my gaze on You, may I be radiant and my face not be ashamed.
Heavenly Father, thank You that You are doing the impossible for me. Thank You that You are doing for me what eye has not seen, what ear has not heard nor entered into the heart of man. I thank You ABBA for answered prayers. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
