Prayer To Break Evil, Negative Family Patterns

Recognition of the Past

Gracious and Merciful Father, I come before You with a burdened heart, recognizing the negative family patterns and evil tendencies that have plagued my family lineage. Generations have passed, and certain behaviors, beliefs, and practices have rooted themselves deeply, influencing our lives in ways we sometimes can’t comprehend.

I acknowledge that these patterns have held many in bondage, leading us away from Your perfect plan for our lives.

But today, Lord, I choose to stand in the gap for my family. I present our history, our mistakes, our pain, and our struggles at the foot of the cross, asking for Your mercy and intervention. I believe in Your transformative power, and I trust that You can break every chain.

Exodus 20:5 “…for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me…”

Ezekiel 18:2 What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel: ‘The parents eat sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’?

Break Every Negative Family Pattern

Every negative family pattern which is a result of the actions, sins or evil covenants engaged in by my ancestors in the past, I come against you, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Every evil family patterns which is a result of the offenses committed by my ancestors, loose your hold over my life NOW, in the name of Jesus Christ.

You are in the wrong territory! I have been purchased and redeemed by God through Christ Jesus, and I have the Holy Spirit as a seal and a mark of ownership.

I belong to God now, and every accusation that the enemy has against me because of what my ancestors have done is nullified, in the name of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:22 Who has placed his mark of ownership upon us, and who has given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the guarantee of all that he has in store for us.

Prayer for Healing and Restoration

Healing Jehovah-Rapha, as the negative patterns are broken, I pray for healing in every broken area of our family. Heal our hearts from the wounds of the past, mend relationships that have been strained, and restore the joy that was once stolen from us.

I pray that as we walk in this new found freedom, we’ll experience a restoration of all that was lost: love, unity, peace, and purpose.

Lord, replace bitterness with forgiveness, anger with love, and confusion with clarity. Revive dead dreams, restore lost hope, and rejuvenate wearied spirits. In You, we find healing and wholeness, and I pray this for every member of my family.

Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the LORD…

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Break All Patterns Of Failure And Illness

Every negative pattern of failure, divorce  and poverty in my family, I come against you, in the name of Jesus Christ. I command you to lose your strong hold over my family and break right now, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Every negative patterns of diabetes, high blood pressure, and all kinds of diseases, I overcome you by the blood of Jesus Christ.

It is written that by His stripes we are healed. Therefore I declare that by His stripes, my family is healed, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Every evil covenant that has compromised the destinies of my family members, lose your power now. You have no right to operate in my life because Christ became a curse that I may be blessed.

Therefore, I disconnect my generation and I loose them from your grip in the name of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 3:13-14. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Declaration

I declare that my family and I are rising out of the ruins of poverty, suffering, depression, diseases and premature death. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen!

Isaiah 58:12 And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of buildings that have laid waste for many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
