Prayer To Become Great In Life
There’s a saying that goes: “The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered…”.
Every child of God is full of virtue and natural advantage to become great in one way or another.
- You may not be book-smart but you may be business-minded.
- You may not be called to be a pastor, but your words may heal.
- You may not be any of the above, but you surely are blessed with something beautiful. The Bible says that each one of us was given grace, and when Jesus Christ ascended, he gave spiritual gifts to us:
Ephesians 4:7-8 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore it says, When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.
We are all gifted, graced and blessed in diverse and unique ways. There are seeds of greatness in each of us, and God wants us to bless the earth with what He blessed us with.
We are wonderfully and fearfully made. So today, we want to pray that our gifts will benefit the earth.
Let Us Pray!
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of Hosts, the fear of Isaac, my Creator and my Maker! How awesome is your love for me! How wonderful is your grace towards me! I am but a man. Yet, you are so mindful about me!
You have made this mortal body your temple and your dwelling place. There are wonderful places on earth but you chose to dwell in me, and You made this clay the temple of Your Holy Spirit. Oh, I praise you my God!
Thank you for creating me in a unique and special way. Thank You, Lord, for endowing me with special ability, grace and gifts. Thank You for giving me grace according to the measure of your own gift. Thank You for making me in a wonderful and fearful way.
Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalms 139:14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Come Alive, Spiritual Gifts
Oh Lord, let every seed of greatness that you have planted in me, come alive, in the name of Jesus Christ. Every unique abilities in me Lord, display them that I may know them and be a blessing to others. Every spiritual gift and talent in me, let them be made manifest, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord. And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither. And whatever he does shall prosper.
Made For Purpose!
Father, let not what You have planted and invested in me go to waste. Lord, I was made for purpose. I refuse to leave this world without fulfilling it. I will not die with your unused resources bottled up within me, oh God.
Use me now. Let me be a blessing to others. Let me be a blessing in the earth. I may not know every gift and grace you’ve given to me now, but I pray that You arise and display them in me.
I will leave this world empty. I will exhaust all the virtues You have given me to the glory of Your name.
So Lord, help me. Help me to be aligned to You. Help me to be aligned to your will. Help me to be in sync with Your Spirit, so that all that is in me will be revealed.
As I get to know You, may I find myself in You. May I know who I am in You. Bless the earth through me, dear God, in the name of Jesus Christ. May the earth not be the same with me in it, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
