Inspirational Prayer for Healthcare Workers
Father in Heaven, we magnify and glorify Your precious Name that surpasses all names. You are worthy, our LORD and God, to receive glory and honor and power. For You created all things. And, by Your will, they were created and have their being. We thank you for the blessing of Healthcare workers and providers, who put themselves on the line for us every day.
Father, At this moment when we are encountering a tribulation, it comes to our sense that in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 You state: “At times, I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls. Or command grasshoppers to devour your crops. Or send plagues among you. Then, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven. And I will forgive their sins and restore their land.”
Precious Father, thank you for everything that is happening, so that we may know how powerful You are. We come together to praise and rejoice in You.
Seeking God’s Wisdom
The entire world is at standstill because of the plague that only You can rescue us from it. Each nation is fighting for her own battle and so far no much success.
We are, therefore, humbling ourselves before Your holy throne and ask for mercy. We come together to pray and seek Your wisdom to have a solution of the crisis that we are in.
May we be turned from our wicked ways and learn to be obedient to Your call. Pour out Your Spirit like never before so that we can be strengthened, to be calm and hear your guidance and direction. May you forgive our sins and restore our land.
Father, in the book of Ephesians 6:18, it states: “And pray in the spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people”
Praying for Doctors and Nurses
Glorious Father, we bring to Your throne doctors, nurses, medical technicians, first responders and all other healthcare professionals, whom You have called for the purpose of healing and comforting the sick. We thank You for the skills you have given them, which enable them to bring hope, healing, and wholeness to those in their care.
Father, at the moment when they are struggling to heal those who are suffering from the deadly pandemic COVID-19, we ask You to take of their health. Carry their burdens and walk with them. Remind them of Psalm 121, and keep them relying on your strength rather than theirs.
Psalm 121 1-2 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Battling and Overcoming Covid-19
Adonai, we ask You to help the healthcare workers perform to the best of their ability for Your Glory. Sometimes things may become tough. But our loving Father, strengthen them in body and soul. Give them tolerance in times of frustration and tiredness. Mostly, replace their patience with Yours.
Prayer to Bless Family Members of Healthcare Professionals
In this hard time, their family members may need their presence at home. But You know how needful they are, Lord. Give the family members sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings and misfortunes of the COVID-19 victims, and let them understand that what they are doing is for Your glory.
Jehovah Rapha, we also humble before You and ask help for the physicians who are working tirelessly, day and night in search of vaccines and medicines to cure this horrible pandemic. Please, Father, enable them to come up with a solution to both vaccines and medicines so that we can shame the devil with his false schemes.
We ask all this through Your precious Son Jesus’ name, Amen.
