Prayer – Energize Your Hunger for God

Merciful Father, Your love is abundant and Your grace is more than sufficient for me. Yet, Lord, I find myself yearning for more of You. I have tasted of Your goodness, experienced Your unfailing love, and I long to draw closer to You. I pray, dear God, that You will increase my hunger for You.

Yet, there are days when I find my spiritual vitality waning, and my hunger for You seems to lessen. Distractions from the world and my own weaknesses often cause me to drift away. Strengthen me, Lord, so I may resist these forces and rekindle the flame of spiritual desire within me.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Psalm 42:1-2 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?

A Prayer For Spiritual Rejuvenation

Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that my soul is weary and my spiritual fire is dimming. I pray for spiritual rejuvenation. Stir up within me, Lord, a deep hunger and thirst for Your presence that no earthly thing can satisfy.

Refresh me with the living water of Your Spirit and fill me to overflowing. Invigorate me with a fresh outpouring of Your love and power. Renew my strength and my resolve to seek You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

A Prayer For Discernment

Loving Father, there are many voices clamoring for my attention, and it’s easy to get lost in the noise. I need Your wisdom and discernment to prioritize my spiritual needs. Help me to separate the important from the trivial, the sacred from the secular, and to focus on nurturing my relationship with You.

Grant me the wisdom to discern what feeds my soul and what depletes it. Help me to make wise choices that will foster my spiritual growth and deepen my hunger for You.

Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

A Prayer for Consistency

Gracious God, I know that spiritual growth requires consistency. Help me, Lord, to be faithful and consistent in my quest for more of You. Strengthen me to resist the temptations and distractions that could lead me astray.

Help me to cultivate daily habits of prayer, reading Your Word, and quiet moments in Your presence. Give me the determination and discipline to pursue You with fervency and consistency.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Hunger For Your Presence

Lord, You are the reason why I am still alive and breathing Your presence. I hunger for more of Your presence, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit of the living God. Please come down and flood every place, and change the atmosphere.

Touch the hearts of every person in this world, Lord, I am nothing and lost without You. You are my all in all.

Psalm 63:1 O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.

John 6:35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst…”

Energize And Use Me, Lord

Let Your plans be done in my life and to the life of my loved ones, Lord Jesus. Energize me as an instrument, Lord, to inspire others.

Use me mightily to help others who also hunger for Your Holy Presence, God. I am complete with Your true love.

I will be forever grateful, thankful and excited that I will know You more and more each day of my life until the day will come that I will see Your face closer and I will hug You tight and kiss You in reality.

Thank You Lord Jesus Christ, I am truly forever Yours and You are forever mine. I love You with all of my fighting heart and soul. Amen!
