Standing in the Gap for Your Children
Almighty God, thank You for the privilege of being a mother. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to stand in the gap for my children.
You promised, Father God, that once I raise my children with the Fear of the Lord, they will walk upright. Thank You for Your Word, for I know once I speak it back to You, You are faithful and just, to perform it.
I declare that everyone within my household will serve You and that I will proclaim Your promises every minute of every day. I delight in You, Abba Father, and will walk honoring and glorifying You in all that I do.
Haggai 2:9 – ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
Standing on Your Promises
My children, Lord, oh, my children, they seem to be taking a different path. But I will continue to stand on Your promises which states: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6) and “Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward” (Psalm 127:3).
Psalm 5:12 – For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield
Proverbs 31:28 – Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her
Turn them back
While seeing them turn aside from You is difficult, I trust You completely that Your Word will not return to You void but it will accomplish what You sent it to do.
Holy Spirit, help me, reveal to me what I need to know and do. Teach me more and more each day how to stand firm on Your promises. SO BE IT… Amen and Amen!
Isaiah 55:11- So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
