Psalm 31 Prayer for Refuge and Safety

Heavenly Father, You are my hiding place and my strong fortress. Tonight, I bring every fear, worry, and anxious thought to You. When I feel surrounded by uncertainty, I choose to run into the shelter of Your love.

Cover me under the shadow of Your wings and remind me that nothing can snatch me from Your hand.

I declare that You are my rock. Even when the storms of life rage around me, my feet will not be moved because I am planted firmly in You. Thank You for being my safe refuge and the strong tower that I can always run to.

Psalm 31:1–3
In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness. Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me. For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.”

Prayer for Deliverance

Abba Father, I place my life fully into Your hands. When the enemy sets traps for me, when temptations try to pull me away, and when my own weakness seems too strong, I cling to You.

Deliver me from every plan of the enemy and protect me from the hidden snares of life.

I surrender my struggles and burdens to You, Lord. I know that You are faithful and true. Rescue me not only from outward dangers but also from the inward battles of doubt and fear. I trust You to keep me safe in Your truth.

Merciful Father, my heart is overwhelmed with sorrow and my body feels heavy with weariness.

Lord, I know that my life is in Your hands. Even when I feel like time is slipping away or that my circumstances are too big for me to handle, I remind myself that You are in control. My times are in Your hands, and You are always working for my good.
