As children of the Most High God, victory is part of who we are, and even the devil knows it. However, this does not stop him from looking for loopholes in the children of God so he can try to defeat us.

2 Chronicles 20:15. And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

One of the loopholes is lack of knowledge. When we don’t know that the battle is already won, we walk in fear, and the devil takes advantage of us.

1 Peter 5:8. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

We need to walk in victory because the battle is not ours – it belongs to our God. Even when we go into warfare, we need to do it from the point of victory. We put the devil in His place—under our feet where he belongs.

Colossians 2:15. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Would you face that challenge today from the point of victory? You might have given up, and almost begging the challenge to leave you alone. But, You are a child of the Most High God, and have already overcome that challenge even before it began. Victory is your portion.

Let Us Pray

Anchoring My Faith in God’s Promises

Sovereign Lord, in moments of doubt, in the face of adversities, and in the midst of battles, it’s easy for me to forget the victories You have already won for me. At times, my flesh is weak and my spirit wavers, questioning if victory is truly within reach.

Yet, deep within my heart, I am reminded of Your promises. You are the God who led Your people out of Egypt, who parted the Red Sea, and who has been victorious in every battle faced.

I anchor myself to Your promises, knowing that if You have declared victory for me, then no force on earth can stand against it.

As I navigate through the challenges of life, help me to always remember Your faithfulness in the past. Let each memory serve as a testament to Your power and a reminder that victory is not just a possibility, but it is my portion.

Deuteronomy 20:4 For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Embracing Victory in Every Season

Lord of Lords, as I journey through the seasons of life, I recognize that not every moment feels victorious. There are days of joy, and there are nights of sorrow.

Yet, even in the toughest times, You have taught me that victory is not always about the absence of problems, but the presence of Your peace amidst them. It’s the inner assurance that, regardless of the situation, Your plans for me are good and will end in triumph.

Father, help me to embrace victory in every season. Whether I’m on the mountaintop or in the valley, let me always be confident in Your unchanging nature and Your unwavering promises.

May I be rooted in the truth that You are always with me, fighting for me, ensuring that victory is indeed my portion.

2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.

Remaining Vigilant Against the enemy

Today, Lord, help me to clearly understand that You granted me victory the day I became Your child. Let me recognize that even the challenges I face today are already defeated, and it’s just a matter of time before I witness their manifestation.

Help me remain vigilant against the enemy. Even though he knows he was defeated and triumphed over by God through Christ’s cross, he still prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he might devour.

But I will not be moved or shaken, for the true LION of the tribe of Judah has prevailed and stands victorious.

Psalm 20:6. The LORD gives victory to His anointed. He answers him from His heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of His right hand.

Jeremiah 23:23-24. “Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord, “And not a God afar off? Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?” says the Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.

Victory Is My Heritage

Faithful and Everlasting God, I stand on Your promises, acknowledging that victory is my heritage as Your child. I ask for the discernment to understand the true essence of victory and the grace to embrace it in every circumstance.

Thank You for always going before me, ensuring that every battle leads to triumph. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who overcame death and granted us eternal victory, I pray. Amen.

Exodus 14:13. And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

Revelation 5:5. Then one of the elders said to me, “Don’t weep. Look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has emerged victorious so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
