PRAYER: WOLVES IN SHEEP CLOTHING
Prayer Against the Wolves in Sheep Clothing
Lord, there are a lot of ravenous wolves in the world disguised as sheep, just waiting to pounce on the weak, the needy, the helpless, the hopeless and those who lack knowledge of your word…Jesus help them. Help them to see, open their eyes, help them to hear, open their ears, help them feel, open their hearts, help them to understand, open their minds and help them to embrace you, open their lives. Lord, please open the eyes of our hearts, we want to see you high and lifted up. Pour out your power, love and blessings upon our lives, let it rain. Lord, help us to hunger and thirst after you. Help us to understand your word and teach it to others righteously.
Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Psalms 119:2 How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart.
Lord, there are many who pretend to be your disciples and preach false doctrines, help us, your faithful followers, to decipher and recognize these false prophets. They twist the real meaning of your beautiful scriptures to suit what they believe to be right…. hence, this is where religion comes into play. Help us, Oh loving Father, to not be religious but to be righteous people of your holy land. Religion lists the dos and donts, while your word gives us the key to your kingdom.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Psalm 43:1 Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
Help us to not be fooled by these false doctrines and false prophecies, for these are all works of the devil to deceive your people. Send your angels to protect us from all evil. Help us all to be true to who we are, what we are, and who we believe in, which is you, Oh Heavenly Father. Help us to withstand all earthly temptations and trials set before us. Give us wisdom and strength to recognize these deceivers. In Jesus ‘ powerful, mighty name. Amen!!
John 14:1 Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
