Prayer For Your Marriage – A Wife’s Struggle
Almighty God, I give you all the praise and glory as I worship You in spirit and in truth. As a humble wife, I come before Your throne of Grace, where I obtain mercy, I pray that my journey in married life, would be renewed. Restore my marriage to new heights, Oh Lord.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 – A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Wife’s Stress In Marriage
Heavenly Father, the stresses of life often make my marriage feel burdensome. In the past, I’ve lost my inner peace and struggled with issues of trust.
I hate the person I have since become. Help me Abba to love myself again. I love and adore my husband and I yearn to be the wife You created me to be, one who my husband would truly love, admire and cherish.
Ephesians 4:2-3 – with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Colossians 3:14 – But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
Praying For Understanding And Wisdom
I ask Lord that You fill me daily with Your Holy Presence. Give me wisdom and understanding and enrich my heart with patience, love, compassion, peace and unity.
Motivate me to always speak words of encouragement to my husband. I trust that there will be complete honesty and open communication in our relationship and it will grow stronger each day.
I pray Father that our emotional and physical connection will be to each other only. When I fall short on areas of intimacy, connect me to my husband in that special way and bind us together, in love, with cords that cannot be broken.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 – Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away
1 Peter 4:8 – And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
