Abba Father, you are the author and finisher of my faith, you knew me when I was within my mother’s womb. You know my destiny and you have orchestrated my life so that I may be successful. You have been a faithful friend throughout my life.
Heavenly Father, many times I find myself being cynical and unkind. Sometimes, I let the cares of this world harden my heart.
Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. – Psalm 51:10
Yet I know it shouldn’t be like this. My Lord, I pray that you give me a pure heart, as I am jaded by the hurts of this world.
I want to love as you love, and care as you care. I need that peace that passes all understanding. When I look at how carefree children are, I remember:
Matthew 5:5 God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.
I want Purity of Spirit
God, I want to be that way. I want purity of spirit, I want humility.
I want you to use me as a vessel of honor unto your name, so that whatever I do and whoever I speak with, they will see the Christ in me.
Abba, this world is not easy but you make my existence worth it. Father, help me to keep my eyes on you and help me to guard my heart.
Help me to look at every trial as an experience and learn from it so that I may be a blessing unto others with my testimony. Help me to conquer every obstacle, as you promised in your word.
Deuteronomy 28:13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail.

GIVE ME WISDOM AS YOU GAVE SOLOMON WHEN HE ASKED.
Father, help me to take my eyes off myself and my problems and give them fully to you. Lord. I want to be mindful of the plight of others.
Give me wisdom as you gave Solomon when he asked. Give me the wisdom to offer wise council to others.

Almighty Father, put the words in my mouth to build up and not break down.
Help me to uplift and not destroy, to bring this tongue under subjection, Father. I want to be kind, Lord and I look to you for this kindness.And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only and not be beneath. Click To Tweet
