Prayer For Peace In The Midst Of Difficulties

Dear Lord, I thank You today because the Bible says that You care for and about me. Sometimes, I worry too much about my life. I worry about how to feed and clothe myself and my family. I often feel that everything is just on my shoulders and I have too much responsibility.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

I’m tempted to think I am all alone. But Your glorious Word reminds me today that I should cast ALL my worries and troubles to You.

Today I’ve realized that there is no worry that I cannot cast on You. There is no burden I cannot roll out to You.

Psalms 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).

Matthew 6:31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

Releasing My Burdens

Heavenly Father, You do not only care for me, but Your Holy Word says that when I release my burdens to You, You will sustain me. You will sustain my family. You will sustain my business.

Lord, I release all my troubles to You. Everything giving me sleepless nights, I release it to You. I release my children to You. My finances, my job, my school, Lord, take over.

Matthew 6:32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

And, Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Putting My Trust In The Lord

Father, You know all that I need. You know I need food and clothing. You also know about my debts and my relationship.

I will put my trust in You as I seek You. I will not focus on my needs and troubles, but rather on knowing You, being in fellowship with You and pleasing You, for all my needs will be added for me.

Psalms 16:11 You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Resting In His Peace

Today, Lord, I rest from all my worries, fears and troubles. I leave them in your care as I pursue constant fellowship with You. 

I may not have what I need right now, but I will be at peace today, because my matter is in the hands of the God of all the universe.

In your presence oh God is fullness of joy and at your right hand are pleasures forever more.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your worries on him, because He cares for you.

John 14:1 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

No More Fear!

Lord, You have left me with Your peace. You have given me your own peace which is like still waters. I will not allow myself to be agitated and disturbed.

I  will not permit myself to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.

I will walk in the peace of God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and all of you shall find rest unto your souls.

Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
