Prayer For God’s Covering

Dear Heavenly and Merciful Father, I come before you full of gratitude and humility, lifting up my hands in prayer for your covering and protection over my life. May Your angels watch over me and may your Holy Spirit guide me through each and every step of my journey today.

Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

Lay Your covering over my mind, that I may have the wisdom, courage and discernment to make the right choices. Grace my heart with your covering, that my emotions may be guided by your love and peace.

Bless my body with your protection and covering, that I may have the strength and energy to fulfill your purpose for my life.

Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

The Covering Of The Blood Of Jesus

Surround me with your angels, that they would guard and defend me in all my ways. I put on the full armor of God, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of the gospel and shield of faith.

Today, I wield the sword of the spirit, as I counter and overcome the attacks of the enemy.

I pray that I am covered with the blessed blood of Jesus, and that the enemy would have no power over me. Renew my mind and heart, and let your peace  reign in my life.

I lift up my family and loved ones, asking for your covering and protection over them. What a loving and faithful God you are. I trust in your goodness to watch over them and bless them in all things.

Cover my home and workplace  that they may be a safe haven for myself as well as those I love.

Psalm 91:4 “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Heavenly Father, I pray for your blessings over my community, and for the people in it. May there be peace, love and unity in this neighborhood. May the leaders be guided by your hand.

Bless them with wisdom to make the right decisions. I give you all the praise and all the honor, in Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.

2 Corinthians 12:9 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Ephesians 6:16 “In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
