A Prayer For When You don’t Feel Good Enough
El Shaddai, Lord God Almighty, when we look at how fearfully and wonderfully YOU have designed all creation, it fills our minds with admiration. We wonder how do we even begin to glorify and magnify You enough for Your magnificent masterpieces. Sometimes we fail to recognize Your Glorious workings in our own lives, Lord but open our eyes so we can see the great and wonderful things You have done in our lives.
1 Corinthians 6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
You have clearly demonstrated change in our lives, you have molded us, Oh Heavenly Father. You have loved us beyond measure from day one, EVEN at those moments when no one else cared to be there for us. You continually watch over us Lord, even when we go astray and wander off like lost sheep.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
At those times Lord, when we don’t Feel good enough, help us to remember that You are continually working in us and through us. Help us to recognize our true worth and value especially when others put us down. No weapon formed against us shall prosper! Help us to realize how precious we are in Your sight. You have already started a good work in our hearts, Lord and it shall be completed! May we boldly embrace each opportunity to reveal Your divine design. Lift our spirits this day, Oh Lord and fill our hearts with joy. In Jesus’ wonderful name we pray, Amen!!!
Psalm 138:8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.Lord, when I don’t Feel good enough, remind me that You are working in me and through me!
