God Protects my Daughter from Attack

I won’t mention the nationality of the man, but, yesterday my daughter was chased by a man in a car. At the time, she was walking back home from her piano classes in the evening. He stopped by her side to start a conversation and she carried on walking. He then proceeded to invite her to get into the car and offered her a lift. My daughter, being a marathon runner, ran with all her might until she reached the guardhouse in my neighborhood.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:19 Click To Tweet

It was only at this point that the man sped off. Terrified, she called me and I left the office immediately and returned home. It’s not safe anymore for her to walk to school or for her lessons. I have arranged for transport and though she’s 16, it is obvious she can’t fight any man.

We read of many girls going missing and today I truly felt the pain of the parents who have lost their children. I know they won’t be able to concentrate on their life, sleep in peace or eat a meal, not knowing the whereabouts of their children, not knowing what happened.

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. 2 Thess 3:3 Click To Tweet

And, as a Christian, I can only pray and reflect on the verses from the Lord our God as we place our trust and hopes for Him to shelter our children wherever they go and whatever they do.

Genesis 28:15 “I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. And I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

I thank you for sharing this. My daughter is a college student and I worry about her safety. I truly appreciate and understand as a parent. Again I thank you and may the Lord bless you.
