Sometimes, it may appear that God has abandoned you. You look around, and you think there’s little proof of God’s presence in your life. You feel like you can’t go ahead anymore. You are no longer strong. You get overtaken by discouragement, and fear of tomorrow. Despair slowly creeps in, without you even knowing it!

But, you are not God’s step child. You are a child of the living God. You are a child of love, for God is love! And your loving Father said that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

It doesn’t matter the depths of the valleys you’re walking in, or the heights of the mountains you’re climbing, He is with you. And, He will help you at His appointed time.

Psalms 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Isaiah 60:22 “I, the Lord, will bring it all to pass, at the right time.”

All you need to do is gather every strength He gives you every single day, and be strong and courageous. The Lord your God will conquer the giants before you.  He will see you through, and raise you up above every situation you’re facing today.

Take a step forward every day. March on, soldier of Christ, and don’t stop, until you arrive!

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Let Us Pray – Prayer To Be Strong And Courageous

Heavenly Father, I humbly approach Your throne of grace, seeking the courage and strength that only You can provide. My God, I am aware of my weaknesses, and the frailty of my human nature.

But, I believe in the transformative power of Your Holy Spirit within me. I ask, Oh Lord, that You would infuse me with Your courage and strength so that I may stand firm in the face of my trials.

I confess that at times, I am overwhelmed by the storms of life. I find myself consumed by worry, fear, and doubt. Yet, Your Word reminds me that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I know that in my own strength I am limited, but with You, I can be strong and courageous.

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Overcoming Fear With God’s Strength

My God, I acknowledge that the source of true strength and courage is in You alone. You are my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. Therefore, I will not fear. I cast all my worries, my fears, and my anxieties on You because You care for me.

Teach me, Lord, to rely on Your strength and not my own. Help me to remember that even when I feel weak, You are strong within me. Embolden me with Your love that casts out all fear and grants me the courage to face my trials.

Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Relying On God’s Promises

Your promises, Lord, are my assurance and my comfort. You promise to never leave me nor forsake me. You promise to strengthen me and help me. You promise that You will fight for me, and I need only to be still. I choose to believe and rely on these promises.

Increase my faith, O Lord, and remind me of Your promises in times of doubt and fear. Let Your promises be my meditation, that I may draw courage from them and stand strong in the face of adversity.

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of good courage. Do not fear nor be afraid of them. For the Lord, your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you, nor forsake you.”

Exodus 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.

Living Courageously In Christ

I yearn to live a life marked by Your courage and strength, a life that reflects Your power and love. A life that is strong in the face of adversity, steadfast in trials, and courageous in proclaiming Your truth.

In this pursuit, guide me, Lord. Grant me the courage to step out in faith, to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You. Fill me with Your Spirit, that I might be a light in this world, living courageously for You.

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

Stronger Faith

Oh Lord, no matter how daring challenges get, may my faith be stronger, may my trust in You be bolder and may my hope in your promises be unwavering.

May I face each day with boldness which is birthed from the place of knowledge; knowing that He who promised is faithful and He will deliver according to His word.

I thank You, Lord Jesus  Christ, because, even before I pray, You hear me. And You promised that I will have what I have asked for. Thank You once again for answering me. In the mighty and all-powerful name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

1 John 5:14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

  1. I have faith in God. He is with me at all times. I am trusting him right now and I know he will bless me in my job. I got a final write up because of health reasons, and I can’t perform my job like I used to. I trust God to watch over me, help me in my time of need, and keep me in prayer.
