Prayer: The Lord Will Fight For Me, I Will Hold My Peace

In moments when solitude encompasses us, and we find ourselves amidst unseen tempests—be they of the heart, fiscal woes, domestic upheavals, or tribulations unseen by others—there exists no haven as secure as the embrace of God Almighty. It is there, under the Almighty’s protective shadow, where we find ‘my peace’, an unassailable refuge from the clamor of life’s tempests.

Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

Deuteronomy 20:4 “For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” 

Trust God For My Peace

This season, trust in the Lord. Don’t try to walk according to your understanding, because you will end up frustrated and weary.

Trust God to take you through every step of the way. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.

When you go through the waters, He shall be with you. When you walk through the fire, the flames will not burn you. The Lord was the fourth man in the fire of Sadrach, Meshach and Abednego, so He is also with you in your fire.

Isaiah 43:2 NLT When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

Let Us Pray

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You Lord for another day of your love and grace. Thank You for the gift of life.

Lord, You are a friend that sticks closer than a brother; I will therefore leave it all in Your hands. I’ll entrust myself and all my troubles in your hands.

When I feel all alone, unloved and weak, You are with me and your love shields me. Lord, when I’m tempted to think that I’m alone in my storm, help me remember that You will never leave me just because I’m going through a storm.

Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

I Surrender My Battles To You

Lord, I surrender my battles to You. I cast every worry, every fear, every doubt upon You, for You are the conqueror of all. The war rages on, yet I will not falter, for my faith is my shield, and Your love, my armor.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. Let my heart find peace in the stillness, knowing that You, my Lord, fight for me.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Guide Me In Your Truth

Guide me, O Lord, in Your truth. Let me not be swayed by the whispers of the enemy, but stand firm in Your Word. Lead me to be a beacon of light in this world of darkness, an instrument of Your peace amidst the chaos.

In You, Lord, I find my refuge and my strength. As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for You. Quench my thirst, Oh Lord, with Your living water, and renew my strength as I wait upon You.

Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

I Will Hold My Peace

Your Word says You will fight for me, and I shall hold my peace. I cast all my burdens unto You, and I entrust my battle in your hands. 

You are a mighty man of war, come and fight for me in my finances, relationship, marriage, family and everything that concerns me.

In the face of adversity, I will hold my peace, for I am not alone. You, my Lord, are with me. You are my rock and my salvation, the fortress where I will not be shaken.

With faith as small as a mustard seed, I proclaim victory in the name of Jesus. For the battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for me. Yes, You, O Lord, are my champion, my defender, and my deliverer.

And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding shall guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Amen.

Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
