A Prayer of Thanksgiving!

Heavenly Father, we humbly come before Your throne of grace and mercy in prayer today, not to ask of anything but to simply give you all the thanks, praise, honour and glory You deserve. Although the oceans rise and the thunders are roaring, we chose to thank You in the midst of our storms, for there is a lot to be grateful for, each and everyday.

1 Chronicles 16:34 – Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

Thank You for waking us up on this glorious morning; thank You for giving me, my family and loved ones, health and strength; thank You for that unconditional, undying, never-failing, endless love that graces us each day; for love came down and saved us on the cross, in the form of flesh and for that we are eternally grateful. Thank You Father, for cleansing me of sin; though the past may try to haunt me, I know and proclaim I am saved, I am healed and I am delivered.

Psalm 116:17 I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the Lord.
Jonah 2:9 But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.

Thank You, for shaping me and molding me into a better person daily. We thank You for travelling mercies, each and every day. We thank You for food on the table, a roof over our heads and all the blessings in life You are going to continually shower us with, for we choose to seek You first and every righteousness of You and Your will surely be added unto us. I accept it, I declare it and proclaim it, in Jesus’ name!
Psalm 95:2-3 – Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods.
2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Today, let us pause in thanksgiving for the many blessings we have been showered with. Click To Tweet
