Family Thanksgiving Prayer

Heavenly Father, As we and our loved ones come together in the spirit of Thanksgiving, we give you thanks for everything. We thank You for a life of faith in You. We have a Great, Awesome God, in whom we savor an everlasting love and mercy, and a life eternally begotten.

Thank You for our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our blessed Savior, by whom we savor the amazing Grace He so graciously offers. In Him and through Him, we have a life eternal in Your heavenly Kingdom so destined for us believers.

Psalm 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Giving Thanks for Blessings

We thank You for our lives, our loved ones, our jobs, and all the gifts and blessings through which we enjoy a life of goodness and fruitfulness.

We pray that we will savor these blessings in all honesty, integrity, and faithfulness. May we not take for granted these blessings You have bestowed upon us, in all goodness.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Praying for Others at Thanksgiving

Father, we also take time to remember those who are suffering in war-ridden countries. Those suffering persecutions, or in condemnation behind prison walls. We pray for the abused, those suffering from long-term illnesses, and those who are on their deathbed.

We pray that they find consolation in their hearts and a great affirmation that all their suffering will come to an end in Your perfect timing. May them be comforted in the eternal promises You so ensure towards Your faithful people.

Colossians 4:2 Be persistent and devoted to prayer, being alert and focused in your prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving.

Walking in Faith

We give thanks Heavenly Father and we pray that we will continue this journey in faith. May we trust in Your heavenly graces, and walk our faith in the way You have called us.

May our steps be in the Lord Jesus Christ, as we remain deeply rooted in Him all the days of our lives. AMEN!

  5. Heavenly Father,
    I am filled with gratitude at your unfailing love and care you have shown towards me and my family. You have answered my prayers for my brother who was suffering from Covid-19 in the ICU hospital. After 24 days in the hospital he is now showing signs of healing in a positive way Lord.

    I am so very happy Lord and I thank you Lord Jesus for your mercy and grace bestowed on our requests and prayers. You have saved my brother’s life Lord and have performed so many miracles along the way. I feel blessed to have a brother like Nelson who has shown me the way to you Lord Jesus. He has taught me how to pray to you how to talk to you.

    Yes I will glorify your name for ever Lord Jesus for what you have done to turn events for a positive beginning and a blessed life for my mother and brother. I thank you Jesus. I thank you for my family my husband my brother, my mother and my two beautiful children.

    I seek protection O Lord from every evil forces, negative forces targeted towards me and my family to be rejected, rebuked and cast away in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapons against me and my family should prosper. The forces for me are more stronger than the forces against me.
    I reject rebuke and cast away all curses, generational curses, strongholds, barriers and bondages towards me and my family in the mighty name of Jesus.

    Protect us Jesus from every evil harm danger temptation and sin.
    I thank you Jesus, I worship you Jesus, I love you Jesus. Amen and Amen

    We thank you for your steadfast love & your kind mercies which you pour out onto us each day.

    We thank you Father,  that we live a life of constant communion with you.  Under your wings of protection, we are able to preserve a holy serenity and security of mind at all times. By faith, our needs, desires and cares are met.

    We thank you for ur kind mercies, grace,  and for the gift of eternal life. We praise you,  we glorify you and honor ur precious name.
    AMEN.

    I praise and give You thanks,for the gift of this life,for the many blessings You have bestowed upon me today and everyday.
    I will praise the name of God with a song,and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.(Psalm 69:30).
    I thank You Father,for You have done so much for me and You always do what is best for me.
    So that today,I am protected and secure every where I go.
    Today,I am made whole.
    Thank You Lord,for the gift of this life and You are meeting all of my need today and everyday.

  10. I am English and in England we do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but in my time living here in the USA I have enjoyed being part of this Holiday time.
    Dearest Lord, I give you all the members of my family and families across the USA. You know them all so well and love them all. I ask that you would cover us with a rainbow of hope.
    Hope that draws us together to work out our differences. Hope that helps us to celebrate together and care for one another. Hope that rides like a banner in our lives and watches over us wherever we go. .Lastly Father Hope guides us and breathes peace. May my family and all families live in You, underneath Your everlasting Promises. In the Gentle name of Jesus Father, hear this prayer. Amen
