A Prayer for the Month of August
Heavenly Father, as I step into the month of August, I acknowledge Your guidance in all seasons of my life. I am filled with awe and gratitude for Your presence in the past months, helping me grow, overcome challenges, and receive blessings.
Lord, as August brings changing routines, new responsibilities, and fresh opportunities, help me welcome the days ahead with faith. Keep me from relying only on my own understanding, and teach me to seek Your will in every decision.
Give me divine guidance, wisdom, and strength throughout this month. Bless me with discernment, courage, and a deeper awareness of Your grace and love. I commit August into Your hands and trust You to direct my steps.

Abba Father, I thank You for every harvest and for all who labor in fields, gardens, and food production. Strengthen farmers and workers through long days and uncertain conditions. Bless the work of their hands, provide what they need, and let their labor bear good fruit.
Grant wisdom and integrity to everyone entrusted with growing, gathering, transporting, and distributing food. Protect vulnerable workers, help communities share with generosity, and teach me to receive Your provision with gratitude. Whether this season brings abundance or difficulty, keep my heart patient and trusting in You.

Strengthen teachers, school leaders, and support staff as they guide and care for others. Grant them patience, discernment, creativity, and compassion. Gracious God, I lift up families to You this August. Give them moments of genuine rest and renewal, whether they are traveling, spending time at home, or continuing their usual responsibilities. Protect them in their journeys and daily routines, and surround their homes with peace.
Strengthen their relationships and help them treat one another with patience, kindness, and compassion. Comfort families facing grief, separation, financial pressure, or conflict. Help them make time for one another, and may their words and actions reflect Your faithful love.

Committing August to God’s Guidance
Lord, I commit the month of August to You. I place my plans, responsibilities, hopes, and uncertainties into Your hands, confident in Your love and faithfulness. Direct my decisions, correct me when I wander, and help me remain attentive to Your presence throughout each day.
