Prayer For Money To Get Out Of Debt
Even when faced with mounting debt, God is always on your side. Sometimes the debt is because of misuse of the gifts that God has blessed us with. Or because we don’t give to the Lord. Sometimes, we spend well beyond our means. But sometimes we do find ourselves in difficult financial positions.
Philippians 4:19: And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
Malachi 3:10: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”
We may have lost a job. We incur sudden medical bills. A death in the family gives rise to unexpected expenses and loss of income.
In spite of it all, our God is willing and ready to demonstrate His love for us. Give thanks to the Lord and expect your breakthrough in your debts.
Proverbs 23:4-5 Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist. When your eyes light on it, it is gone, for suddenly it sprouts wings, flying like an eagle toward heaven.
Prayer To Get Out Of Debt
Abba Father, I bow before your throne. I thank you for the enormous blessings you provide.
Lord, I repent of my misuse. I confess that I have made mistakes along the way. By using your resources in my own way and not being led and directed by the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 6:31-33: So don’t worry about these things, saying, “What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?” These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Help me, Father, to be a good steward of your resources. Help me to hear you Lord and obey your directions. I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.
My desire, Lord God, is to be closer to you, to hear you more, and know when I am making the wrong decisions financially.
Please, Lord, I ask you to intercede on my behalf. Provide me with the financial means to be able to breathe again. Show me a way to successfully repaid my debts.
Forgive my shortcomings, Lord. Walk with me and help me to make the right decisions throughout my life. In your name, I pray, Amen.
Luke 6:38: Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.

Praying for relief from debt and financial burdens
Lord, I’ve made financial mistakes. My debts are out of control. But Lord, I know you can open a way where there seems to be no way.
I pray for a financial breakthrough in my life right now! Grow my finances and bestow on me wisdom to manage Your blessings righteously.
May I be good stewards of all that You provide. Help me to not depend on money but only on You, Jehovah Jireh, my Provider.
