Heavenly most loving Father, we come before you today to humbly ask you to guide us, in all that we do, so that it reflects your glory and honor.
There are many that do not know you, Oh Lord. We pray that they find their way back to you through your wonderful son, Jesus Christ.
Lord help us to get to know you and become closer to you each day. Help us to be like Christ: kind, loving, gentle, tender, generous, forgiving and compassionate.
Touch the hearts of, and reach out to, those who do not know you. Let them yearn for you. Oh Lord, those who know you, and have lost their way, help them rediscover you. Those who are mislead by the world and wolves in sheep clothing, help them discover the truth. Those who are struggling to find answers, give them knowledge, Oh God.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Bring us back to you, Lord
Thank you God for sending your beautiful son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross, to save lowly sinners such as ourselves. He suffered such an imaginable death to set us free.
Every stripe on his back, the three nails that pierced his flesh and the blood that was shed was all for us. And yet we still stray, like lost sheep trying to find our way home. Father bring us back to you, we need you. Help us to withstand the evil of this world.
Give us strength, Oh Lord, for we know You are our strength when we are weak and weary. Lord, we know that by giving our lives to you and putting you first does not mean we won’t experience difficulties.
But it means that we would be able to handle our situations more gracefully, with you by our side. You will be our hope when all hope is lost, our strength when we are weak, our joy when we are sad, our healer when we are sick, our deliverer when we are lost.
1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.”
1 Peter 3:18 “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Help the suffering
All those who are suffering heavenly Father, in what-ever situation it may be, we ask that you be with them, for we know you will never leave us or forsake us in our time of need. Let them realize how much you love and cherish them, let them feel your warm embrace and come to know your mighty power.
Will you receive Jesus Christ right now?
Here is how you can receive Christ:
- Admit your need (I am a sinner).
- Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
- Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)
How to Pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Lord, I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
God’s Assurance: His Word. If you prayed this prayer, the Bible says …
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. ” —Romans 10:13
