Prayer: Brood Over Me, Holy Spirit!

Inviting The Holy Spirit’s Presence And Power

Oh Holy Spirit, the very breath of God and the Comforter of our souls, I humbly approach You today, recognizing my need for Your guidance, wisdom, and power. You were there at the creation, brooding over the face of the deep, bringing order out of chaos and life out of nothingness.

I invite You now to brood over my life, to take what is formless and void and breathe Your divine life into me.

In this moment, I surrender my will, my thoughts, my desires, and all that I am to Your gentle yet powerful influence. I believe that Your work within me will transform me into the image of Christ, creating beauty, purpose, and a fresh anointing in every area of my life.

Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Guiding Me In Truth And Wisdom

Holy Spirit, I recognize that You are the Spirit of Truth who guides us into all understanding. I pray that You would brood over my mind and heart, illuminating the path that I should take.

Teach me Your ways, and let Your wisdom flow through me in every decision I make. I declare that I will walk in the Spirit, discerning Your voice and obeying Your promptings.

I will not lean on my own understanding but acknowledge You in all my ways, trusting that You will direct my paths. Guide me in truth, and let Your wisdom be my foundation.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Empowering Me For Service And Witness

Mighty Holy Spirit, I invite You to brood over my calling and the gifts You have placed within me. Anoint me afresh for the work You have prepared for me, that I may serve others in love and be a bold witness for Christ.

I declare that I will be a vessel, fit for Your use, relying not on my strength but on Your power working through me. May my life demonstrate the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control that come from walking in the Spirit.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Healing And Restoring My Inner Being

Gentle and Healing Spirit, I ask You to brood over my inner being, my emotions, my wounds, and my brokenness. Bring healing where there is pain, comfort where there is sorrow, and peace where there is turmoil.

I declare that You are the Restorer of my soul, able to take what is shattered and mend it into something beautiful. May Your love penetrate the deepest parts of my being, healing past hurts and filling me with Your joy, love, and peace.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

A Life Fully Surrendered To The Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, I thank You for Your promise to be with me always, leading, guiding, empowering, healing, and restoring. I choose to yield to Your gentle brooding over my life, trusting that Your work within me will bring forth fruit that glorifies the Father and honors the Son.

May my life be a living testimony to Your grace, and may I walk in daily fellowship with You, experiencing the fullness of Your presence and power. I declare that You are welcome here, Holy Spirit, to move in me and through me for Your glory.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

Brood Over My Finances, Marriage

Brood over me, over my finances, over my marriage, over my career, over my education and over everything which concerns me, oh Holy Spirit of God.

Brood over me, search me, search my heart for every darkness, emptiness and voidness and prepare me to walk into the promises of God upon my life.

Prepare me to walk into the manifestation of God’s word over me, in the name of Jesus Christ. Prepare me to walk into the fulfillment of prophetic words spoken upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let the rest of this year be fruitful. May I see manifestations of God’s promises in my life. May I see the manifestation of my goals and resolutions in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
