Nothing goes right today!

Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.

I woke up late because I was so tired from months of stress and work. I ran late for my job interview because my car couldn’t start and I had to take a bus. The bus got stuck in traffic and I’m sitting in anger, asking myself what more could go wrong today?

Arguing with God

I argued with God when I begged him to let me reach on time for the interview. Where are you God when I need you?

Two hours passed, only to see a huge accident at my usual coffee shop where I would stop every morning. A truck ran into the café, damaging three persons.

Oh my God! I could have been one of those three persons there, had I been on time this morning. God, You saved me!

Being Shielded

Along that road I saw a caution tape where police gathered. Two vehicles were stolen at the same place where I would have left my vehicle if I was on time. God, You shielded my car from being stolen. You chose to have your hands upon me today although I was angry at you.

Heated flames rose up in the air, as the company where I had my interview was on fire due to poor electrical wiring. My God, you protected my life because I would have been dead if I was on time.

Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

It is always right with God

Nothing goes right today? Guess what! It always goes right with God. We don’t see what the future holds but God protects us although we see it as a setback.

Many bumpy roads may arise in your walk with God but every situation is there to help you, mold you and prepare you for something bigger and better in life. Our timing isn’t God’s timing, so even if we are late, God is always on time.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
