On your way to success, you will encounter many stumbling blocks. In fact, on your way to fulfilling God’s purpose for your life, you will face so much opposition.
Often, when we face opposition and encounter challenges, we may feel like giving up. We may ask ourselves if what we started is really from God. But challenges and hindrances do not mean that what we are doing is not God’s will.
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Jesus even said, that in this world, we will have trouble. But in ALL THINGS, God works for the good of those who love him. He makes stumbling blocks to become our stepping stones. He makes our challenges to become great life lessons, for an even greater future ahead.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called, according to his purpose.
When the enemy comes in against us like a flood, God does not stop him, but HE raises a standard against him. When the children of Israel came out of Egypt, they encountered a red sea, blocking them from entering God’s promised land.
God did not command the Red Sea to depart from His children. But, He used the sea for good to the children of Israel. He made a way through it for them to go to the other side, and also killed their enemies in it.
Isaiah 59:19 When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.
When Jesus was left behind by his disciples on the other side of the sea, He walked on the waters. And God today is saying to you, behold, I have already given you power to walk upon and trample on snakes and scorpions.
The traps that the enemy has set up for you will lead to your elevation. You will not drown in that sea of depression. But, you will walk on it, and come out with a song. God will work out things for your good.
