Devotional – Preparing for the Week Ahead

John 4:11, 13- 14

She said to Him, Sir, You have no bucket to draw with and the well is deep. How then can You provide living water?

Jesus answered her, All who drink of this water will be thirsty again.

But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up continually within him unto eternal life.

Get Refreshed

Feeling stressed and unduly pressured already? We usually take either Sunday or Monday as the first day of the week.

Many of us get so caught up in the business of preparation for the work -or school- week ahead, that we haven’t taken the time to sit at Jesus’ feet to allow him to fill us with living water.

It’s funny, we’re too busy or too tired. But if we take the time to allow God to flood our beings with Himself, then we are strengthened for the up-coming week.

No preparation is more important than spending that time with our Abba Father so that he can empty us of the dross and difficulty of the last week and fill us, prepare us, cover us and put things in place for us for the upcoming week.

Take time to allow God to flood you with Himself – you will be ready for the up-coming week. Click To Tweet

Tough Week?

So if you had a tough week and are concerned, or too tired and frustrated to deal with this week, then I encourage you, sit at His feet.

Take the time out of your busy schedule and spend some time with our amazing Father. Let Him fill you and prepare you to face this upcoming week!

He already knows what’s going to happen. So why not let Him prepare you for it?!

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

That I may know Him and the power of the Cross. I’m learning more and more to trust that God has my best interests at heart and that everything He does is for purpose and by design. I encourage you to get to know Him, it has been the most exciting journey so far for me, I’m sure it will be the same for you!
