As we celebrate this festive Christmas season in 2023, with our loved ones, may this joyful season genuinely signify the birth of of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May it also serve as a reminder for us to put on our helmet of love, hope, kindness and happiness.

Prayer Before Christmas 2023

Father God, thank You for the greatest love any human being can ever experience, the birth of Your Son Jesus Christ. It is during this season of Christmas that we make plans to travel, and we look forward to being with our loved ones.

But above all our plans this Christmas, dear God, I sincerely ask that Your presence surrounds our every move. May we surrender our thoughts to You.

Grant us the peace, O’ Prince of Peace, to remain merry and faithful. May we continuously reflect on where You have taken us from and where we are today, because of Your great new mercies every day.

Oh, what a God we serve! A humble birth, a great King was born. Teach us to remain humble as You are. May we truly reflect the fruits of Your divine hands. Oh Lord, I pray that we truly appreciate Your love for us.

Heavenly Father, may I be a vessel of your love. May I testify of your wondrous works so that others may celebrate and come to experience the power in the blood of Jesus. In Jesus Mighty name I pray and thank You Father. Amen.

Prayer for Christmas Day 2023

Heavenly Father, indeed, unto us a wonderful Child is born. We appreciate wholeheartedly Your selfless love. Thank You that through Your Son Jesus His blood sets us free from sin and sorrow.

We celebrate this Christmas day with our friends and family. We pray for those who are unable to be with their families because of distance, death, separation, pain of the past, any hindrance that is keeping them from fully experiencing Your Peace.

Father in Jesus name, I pray that You touch their hearts right now wherever they find themselves. A touch of love, calmness in the storm, a touch of pure joy. Oh Lord, even a touch of blessing and Your loving embrace. Or a soft whisper in their spirits that everything shall be well. Because it is for a time as such You were born. In Jesus Mighty name I pray. Amen.

Prayer – Remaining Grounded In Christ During And After The Season

Father God, please remind us that a time such as the season of Christmas does not change what we believe or who we are in Christ. Grant us the wisdom to never put our guards down. But may we pray more, because the devil wonders around seeking who to devour.

Let us continue to seek Your face every day as we intercede for those that are in hospitals at this time. Father God, please heal them.

We also pray Lord that You give us the grace to be a blessing to those who are going through tough times, the homeless and those wondering the streets without food.

May this prayer touch Your children to be a blessing to others always. For it is written that God loves cheerful givers. Grant us the grace to fully walk in Your will always in Jesus Mighty name I pray. Amen.
