A Prayer for KEVIN, for Your Teenager
As I have written before, a mother’s prayers are endless for her children. Today there’s a request from a mother to pray for her teenager son, KEVIN, who is in a state of depression, because of all of the things in his life.
Adolescence can be a difficult period to cope with, as these young people find themselves facing decisions. Parents have a hard time teaching them to stick to good ways and Godly Biblical principles that will help them make it in the world.
Quite often, parents and teenagers could never meet eye to eye in these instances especially where family unity, love and peace is long lost and forsaken. Please pray for KEVIN and feel free to pray in your own words:
Matthew 18 : 20 “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Almighty Father, in the promise of Your word, we pray for KEVIN and many young adults who are making choices and are faced with possible life-changing decisions. We pray for those teens who are entrapped by the ways of the world. Keep Your word alive in all their needs, decisions and choices in life.
In their hard times, trying to please their parents and their hearts’ desires, may pleasing You Lord be their ultimate desire, for nothing could go wrong with Your principles laid first in every aspect of life.
Honesty, prudence, wisdom, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, kindness, respect, love and much more, if adopted and practiced, will surely lead to a life of goodness and happiness, with You and with one another.
We earnestly pray, Lord, that KEVIN is guided by Your Holy Spirit. May he be purified in desires and thoughts towards his family and his life. May he get over his depression, with the help of the family, to be led into Your path of light and joy and with clear direction.
We pray that he overcomes the issues of life, to know that there’s much to conquer and much to be in the world, in the blessed name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
