Use Me, Lord! A Prayer to Be Used by God
Offering Myself in Service to God
Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, ready to be used for Your glory. In the stillness of this moment, I offer myself to You as a vessel for Your divine purposes.
You have called each of us to serve others and share Your love. Today, I ask You to use me wherever You see fit. May my hands do Your work, my feet follow Your paths, and my words reflect Your truth and love.
Equip me with the wisdom, strength, and courage to fulfill the tasks You place before me. Let my life testify to Your grace, bring hope to those in darkness, and offer comfort to those in need. Here I am, Lord, use me for Your glory.

Seeking God’s Guidance in Serving Others
Lord, as I seek to serve You more fully, guide my steps and direct my path. Show me where the gifts and abilities You have given me can meet the needs of others and bring glory to Your name.
Lead me toward the opportunities that align with Your will, and give me discernment to recognize when You are calling me to act. When the way forward is unclear, help me wait patiently for Your direction. When it is time to move, give me the courage to step forward in faith.
Teach me to serve with humility, integrity, and genuine love. Guard my heart against seeking recognition or praise. May everything I do point others toward You and advance Your kingdom. Give me wisdom to follow where You lead and faith to trust You with every step.

Give Me a Heart of Compassion
Use me, Lord. Fill my heart with compassion so that I may serve others not only through my actions, but also with patience, understanding, and genuine love.
Teach me to see people through the eyes of Christ. Help me listen without judgment, recognize the burdens others carry, and respond to their needs with tenderness and wisdom. Stir my heart with compassion, and move me beyond good intentions into faithful action.
Work through me to encourage the brokenhearted, comfort those who are troubled, and bring hope to those who feel discouraged. Keep me dependent on You, remembering that true healing and lasting peace come from Your presence and power. Lord, here I am, use me to reflect Your love.

Change My Heart to Serve Like Jesus
Lord, renew my mind and shape my heart to reflect the humility and compassion of Jesus. Help me understand Your Word and recognize how deeply You care for Your people. Teach me to represent You faithfully through my words, choices, and actions.
Give me a willing heart that looks beyond my own concerns and notices the needs of those around me. Make me sensitive to the hurting, attentive to the overlooked, and ready to offer whatever help I can with wisdom and love.
Use me for Your glory, Lord. Help me share Your Gospel with grace and truth. Let others see the character of Christ in me. Remind me that I am part of the body of Christ and that You have given me a meaningful role in serving others.

Equip Me to Serve You
Lord, open my eyes to see the needs around me. Use my hands to reach out with kindness and practical help. Guide my feet toward the sick, the lonely, the imprisoned, and those who need encouragement. Fill my heart with compassion for those who are suffering.
When I feel inadequate, remind me that my ability to serve comes from You. Equip me with the strength, wisdom, courage, and humility I need to follow Your leading. Help me remain willing even when the task seems small or goes unnoticed.
As I go forward today, make me attentive to every opportunity You place before me. Use my words to encourage, my actions to demonstrate Your love, and my life to bring glory to Your name. Thank You for choosing to work through ordinary people who surrender themselves to You.
Here I am, Lord. Use me according to Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

A Reflection on Being Used by God
God often begins with a willing heart rather than an impressive résumé. Your opportunity to serve may seem ordinary, but an encouraging word, a compassionate response, or a quiet act of obedience can reflect the love of Christ.
