Prayer To Use Your Time Wisely

Heavenly and Glorious Father, I praise and give glory to your name. You have blessed me each and every day. Your word is great and true. Yet Lord, I pray that I will be able to use my time wisely.

Lord, so many times I’m too busy to take time to spend in Your Word. I’m too rushed to spend quality time in prayer and communication with you. I pray that I will develop the discipline to always have you first in my life and in my day.

James 4:13 – Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”

James 4:14-15 – Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”

Spending Time Wisely

Lord, guide me daily, that I don’t spend my time on social media but rather on achieving the goals you have set out for me. May I seek after your truth and your path for my life.

May I prepare myself daily to conquer the enemy and reach for my goals. Help me Lord to use my time wisely, because these days are evil.

May I not be distracted by television, music, and other forms of entertainment. Rather, may I use them in moderation and good sense.

Lord, help me to use my time wisely to accomplish the things you have designed me to do. May I use my time to do beneficial things for myself and for others. Make me a vessel of hope and good works, Lord.

Lord, I pray that You give me guidance that I may use my time to succeed in the different areas of my life: at home, at work and within the community.

Ephesians 5:16 – Making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

Psalm 90:12 – So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

Romans 13:11 – Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

Praying For Good Time Management

Bless me with wisdom and time management. May I make the most of each and every hour. May I be a blessing to my family. Fill us with love and time to listen to each other.

Lord, I do not know what tomorrow will bring. For I am just a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

But in this short time may I use the days well to glorify your name. Teach me to number my days so that I may get a heart of wisdom.

Heavenly Father, forgive me for not using my precious time wisely in the past. Guide me Lord from this day forward. May your Holy Spirit fill me with Godly wisdom and guide and direct my days. In Jesus’ all powerful and majestic name I pray, Amen!

Ephesians 5:15-17 AMP – Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honor, purpose, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil], not as the unwise, but as wise [sensible, intelligent, discerning people], making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are filled with evil. Therefore, do not be foolish and thoughtless, but understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is.
