Prayer for Strength in Difficult Times

Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Declaration

I declare that my strength does not come from my own energy, but from the Spirit of the Living God. Though I may feel tired and worn, I am not defeated. I choose to cast my cares upon the Lord, knowing He sustains me. I will not be shaken by the size of the storm, for I am held by the Creator of the wind and the waves. His peace is my portion, and His grace is my fuel.

A Prayer for Strength in Difficult Times

Heavenly Father,

My God, I come to You feeling stressed, tired, and worn thin. It feels as though new issues arise faster than I can manage them, and the solutions I need seem so far away.

In my exhaustion, remind me that I don’t have to figure everything out on my own. I lay the heavy burden of these ‘unsolvable’ problems at Your feet, trusting that Your wisdom begins where my understanding ends.

Dear Lord, when I am overwhelmed by the troubles of this world, give me Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen my heart when I am weary, and calm my mind when I am full of worry. Guide me through the storms I face, and hold me close in Your loving arms.

Help me to trust in Your plan and to find hope in Your promises. Remind me that even in the darkest times, You are with me, and I am never alone. I receive Your strength today, knowing that Your power is made perfect in my weakness.

In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
