Prayer For Unbelievers To Come To Christ

Messiah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, I praise Your holy name. I magnify You, Oh great Lamb who sits on the throne. Your desire is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and knowledge of the truth. I stand in the gap for the unbelievers in my life – family, friends, colleagues, and those I encounter daily – pleading for Your mercy and grace to touch their hearts.

Open their eyes, Lord, that they may see Your glory. Soften their hearts, that they might receive the seeds of Your Word with joy. Break down the walls of doubt, skepticism, and indifference, making room for faith to take root and grow.

Hebrews 3:12 Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of You an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.

Touch The Hearts Of Unbelievers

May they taste the sweetness of having You in their lives. Bless the unbeliever with a witness to Your Holy Presence. Touch their hearts Oh God, help them to turn from their wicked ways.

Interject change within them that they would come to the realization that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. May they realize that no one can enter Your heavenly kingdom except through Christ.

1 Timothy 1:13 Even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief

Strength To Overcome The Darkness

And, as they begin to seek You, reveal Yourself to them, Oh Savior, for the enemy will try to attack with force. Protect them from all evil. Give them strength to overcome the darkness.

Bless them with peace in their hearts, joy in their souls and faith that will last for eternity. Every mountain, every hill and every valley will be removed in Jesus name!

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

Interceding For The Spirit’s Conviction And Guidance

Holy Spirit, move powerfully in the lives of those who do not yet believe. Convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment, not to condemn, but to lead them to the freedom found in repentance. Reveal to them the emptiness of life without You and the fulfillment that comes from living in Your presence.

Guide them in the journey from unbelief to faith, ensuring that every step draws them closer to the heart of the Father. Transform their lives so radically that they become living testimonies of Your grace and power.

John 16:8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.

Psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

The Blood of Jesus

Remind them that Your love never fails, and Your mercies and grace endure forever. Remind them also of the blood that was shed for them, to save lowly sinners such as ourselves out of Your love of humanity and hope that we would one day change.

I place my trust in You, Lord, believing that You are working in the hearts of unbelievers even now. I look forward to the day when they will confess Jesus as Lord, experiencing the joy of Your salvation and the peace of being in right relationship with You.

To You be all glory, honor, and praise, for the work You are doing and will do in the lives of those who do not yet know You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
