Powerful Prayer For When I Am Feeling Empty

Ever had that sinking, empty feeling that just leaves you frustrated? Sometimes you don’t know why. Sometimes it’s because nothing seems to be going your way. It’s like a piece of your soul is missing.

You may be grieving the loss of a loved one. Maybe your heart aches with the space left open by one you love who didn’t return your love. Or the emptiness may come from feeling unfulfilled in your goals or heart’s desires.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13

It is at times like these that we turn to the Word of God, to prayer, and to songs of worship as we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives and to guide and direct our footsteps. Allow the Lord to fill you and bless you. Claim it in your life today! Let’s pray.

Prayer When You Are Feeling Empty

Heavenly Father, I praise Your Name in worship. I magnify You in all I do. Let Your glory fall upon me so my light will shine in Your honor.

As I shout praises to Your merciful name, I take my rightful place at Your side. Thank You for the privilege of being in Your presence.

I want Your Presence Lord to consume me, Your consuming fire to burn deep within me, especially now as I am feeling empty.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Fill My Mind With Peace

Abba Father, I know that I am filled with the Holy Spirit, but still, there is so much hurt I feel.

The empty sensation in the pit of my stomach. The heavy heart, as though a part of me is missing or something is severely wrong.

This empty feeling is too much for me to bear. I feel so overwhelmed by it.

Today, Jehovah Shalom, I pray for You to fill my mind with peace, comforting thoughts, and reassuring words.

Let Your Holy Spirit fill me completely so that negativity will not continue to overcome me.

You know Lord that sometimes I cannot fully express the intensity of my feelings in words, but You already know. I cry out, in desperation Lord, for Your help!

Psalms 34:18 – The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Psalms 72:12-13 – For He will deliver the needy when he cries, The poor also, and him who has no helper. He will spare the poor and needy and will save the souls of the needy.

Giving Thanks

My Redeemer, I thank you that I have eternal life, through Your Son. I want Your Word to be planted and rooted deep within my heart so I can clearly see and hear You, especially in my weakest moments.

I pray that this burden will be lifted and the emptiness, because of the past hurts, will be replaced with love, joy, and peace.

Healing and restoration will be manifested. These mercies I pray, in the beautiful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, SO BE IT…AMEN!
