Prayer To Claim Jesus Over Your Life

Invoking The Divine Lord

Oh gracious Father in heaven, I humbly approach Your holy throne, bowing down in worship and adoration, fully aware of my own unworthiness, but confident in the righteousness of Christ that covers me.

I come with a heartfelt desire to fully submit myself to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and claim His authority, His love, and His grace over my life.

Dear God, I confess my need for You. Without You, I am like a ship without a rudder, lost and drifting in the sea of life. But with You, I have direction, I have purpose, and I have hope.

I believe in the name of Jesus, that at His name every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. I claim this powerful truth over my life.

Philippians 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’

Jesus, My Savior

I declare that Jesus is my Savior, the One who has saved me from the penalty of my sins, and continues to save me daily from the power of sin. I claim the saving grace of Jesus over my life.

No more shall I be enslaved to sin, but I am set free by the blood of Jesus. Through Him, I have been adopted as a son or daughter of God.

I declare that Jesus is my Lord, the One who rules and reigns in my heart and life. I submit myself under His lordship, surrendering my will to His, my desires to His, and my life to His.

From this day forward, I choose to follow Him, obey Him, and serve Him with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Abiding in Jesus, My Vine

Jesus, You are the vine and I am a branch. I cannot bear fruit apart from You. Therefore, I claim Your life-giving presence over my life. I choose to abide in You, to remain connected to You, to draw nourishment and strength from You.

I acknowledge that apart from You I can do nothing. But with You and in You, I can bear much fruit, fruit that will last. I claim this promise over my life and commit to a life of abiding in You, for Your glory.

John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Exalting The King

I proclaim Jesus as my King, the One who has dominion and authority over all things. I affirm that His kingdom reigns supreme over all other powers and principalities. In my life, I choose to bow to His sovereignty, His majesty, and His rule.

You are Christ the King, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and I declare Your kingship over my life. Rule and reign in me, Oh Lord. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in my life as it is in heaven.

Revelation 19:16: On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

The Triumph Of My Lord And Victor

Finally, I rejoice in Jesus, my Victor. He who has overcome the world, sin, and death. I claim His victory over my life. No longer am I a victim of sin, but I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me.

May the triumph of Jesus be evident in my life. May I walk in His victory, live in His victory, and proclaim His victory to the ends of the earth. For the victory belongs to Jesus, and in Him, I share in this glorious victory.

In all these, I give You thanks and praise, dear Lord. Continue to guide me, strengthen me, and keep me in Your loving care. All these I pray in the powerful and precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
