Is there anything too hard for God to do?

Is there anything too hard for God to do? There are some situations in life that really knocks the breath out of you. I am certain every one of us has a story like this.

You feel that the world and everyone in it has forsaken you. That even God Himself has forsaken you and you are left to walk through the most difficult times all alone.

Even Job said to God that he cries out to Him but He doesn’t answer (Job 30:20). He was at his lowest point in his life. After losing his kids, wife, livestock, health and everything you could think off, even his very own friends didn’t stand with him.

The truth is, you may never know why you end up in some situations. In Job’s case, he did nothing wrong.

God allowed the devil to touch his life, because God knew that Job was devout in His faith, and didn’t serve Him because of the blessings but rather because He loved God and trusted in Him completely.

I am convinced that God knows the whole picture long before things begin to unfold in our lives. When Job was at his lowest, God Himself came on the scene.

He and Job went on to converse for many chapters (chapters 38 to 41). Really, God seemed to have questioned Job, so that in His questions, Job found the answers he was looking for.

In the end Job had to admit “I know that Thou canst do everything…..” (Job 42:2).

As a result of Job’s confession and releasing of his friends (by praying for them); “the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning” (Job 42:12).

Ephesians 1:20-23 All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the centre of all this, Christ rules the church. The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.

Is there anything too hard for God to do?

Maybe other gods cannot do great and mighty things because they don’t have this position as God. But God sits on the throne of the universe and Jesus has been given the rule over everything.

And Jesus is our big brother and as a result He looks over us. Is there anything too hard for God to do?

Is your faith falling away because your situation looks so ominous and all you see is the problem? It doesn’t matter what the problem is – no power is exempt from God’s rule!

Make a choice to believe

Make a choice to believe that this is the God that we serve. Recently I had this realization: God who parted the Red Sea so His children could walk across the sea (on dry land) to be saved from their enemies. He is the very same God we serve now.

If you have a Red Sea in front of you today and Pharaoh’s entire army behind you, look to the God who rules over everything, every power, and every name. If you can name it, God rules over it!!!

Proverbs 3:5-6 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

May the God who is able to do all things continue to stand by your side! Amen.

  1. I see the comments on this thread are from 3 years ago but still I am here asking anyone and everyone to please pray for my mom. She is 70 years old and looks 50 but 3 years ago after suffering 2 strokes in one day God saved her. Just when we thought she was going to make a great recovery we just discovered recently that she has advanced cancers in multiple places. I know God can and will heal her but I believe in the power of prayer. She has been the best mom anyone could ask for and I cannot imagine a life without her in it everyday. She cannot eat or drink hardly at all. She has lost 70 pounds in just a couple months. She is very weak and is going to her second chemo treatment on the 13th. And I ask God to heal her of this dreadful illness, all of them, Heal her completely of every debilitating, disease that is keeping her from living a normal healthy life. Please Lord, in the blessed name of Jesus Christ heal her. Thank you Jesus for your grace. In Jesus’ Holy name, Amen.

    1. Kim, I declare and decree that by Jesus’ stripes, your mom is healed. Jesus manifest your healing power in kim’s mom body and mind right now in Jesus’ name. Comfort kim, and take all anxiety and doubt from her heart, and replace it with power, love and a sound mind. I thank and love you Jesus because you first loved us. We thank you for doing what we have asked and believe. Amen!!!

  2. There is nothing too hard for God to do.

All you have to do is ask him to help you and run to it,simply by doing this.

    O Lord , i now admit my sins,and i accept your grace;

Transform my life adn help me grow, until i see your face.

And then and only then you can run and win. God Bless you and have a bless and productive day.
