Prayer for Surrender to God’s Will

Heavenly Father, in the quietness of this moment, I come to You with a heart willing to surrender. All too often, my desires and plans take precedence over Your perfect will. Today, I choose to say, ‘Have Your way, Lord.’

I relinquish my plans, my ambitions, and my will to You, trusting in Your sovereign plan for my life. You see the entire tapestry of my existence, while I only see a part. Guide me in Your path, for I know it leads to true fulfillment and joy.

Help me to embrace the journey You have set before me, even when it diverges from my own plans. Give me the strength to let go of my control and the faith to walk in the unknown, knowing that You are with me every step of the way. Align my heart with Yours, so that my greatest desire is to fulfill Your purpose in my life.

Help me to trust that You are working all things for my good, even when I cannot see the way forward. In the midst of trials, may my first response be to seek Your face and to say, ‘Have Your way, Lord.’

Grant me the peace that comes from trusting in Your sovereignty, and the strength to endure hardship with grace and patience. May my life reflect a deep trust in You, demonstrating to others the peace and assurance that come from a life surrendered to Your will.

Faithful Guide, in the journey of life, I seek Your direction and guidance. With so many decisions to make, paths to choose, and opportunities to consider, I need Your wisdom to navigate these crossroads.

As I lay before You my choices and plans, I humbly ask that You have Your way, Lord. Direct my steps according to Your will, and lead me in the way everlasting.

In every decision, big or small, help me to seek Your counsel and to be attentive to the leading of Your Spirit.

May my choices reflect a heart aligned with Your purposes and a life dedicated to following Your lead. Guide me by Your Word and Your Spirit, that in all things, Your will may be done in my life.

Obedient Servant, in Your example, I find the perfect model of service and submission to the Father’s will. Instill in me a heart that is eager to serve and quick to obey.

Forgive Me

Dear Lord, You are a faithful God, faithful to your word and to your promises. All your promises are yes and they are Amen in Christ Jesus.

You said that You will never leave me nor forsake me. Your word says that You have numbered the very hair of my head. You care for me and about me more than I can ever imagine.

Then why Lord, have I doubted You? Why did I try to sort out things on my own? Why did I lean on my own understanding?

Please Father, in your infinite mercy, forgive me. Forgive me for relying on my understanding of events and situations in my life. Have Your way in my life.
