Prayer For When You Feel Worried

Yahweh, Holy One, today, as I arise from my bed, I choose to look at the positive side of things and not be worried today. I choose to have a different perspective when I step out into the world on this glorious morning.

I will not allow my worrying mind to get the better of me. No way will I allow Lucifer to fill my thoughts with doubt. I will not tolerate any negative entity that he throws my way.

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothes?

Luke 12:25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?

No Need To Be Worried

I am a fighter. Oh God, You are by my side wherever I fall, in the stillness of the night, whenever I call. You will pick me back up and I will mount up on wings like the eagles. You are the love of my life and the author and finisher of my faith.

With this confidence, I have no fear and no need to worry. You, the creator of the universe, hold my world in the palm of Your hands. So there is no doubt that You are going to bring me through every situation I am facing.

Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

Prayer For Peace Amidst The Storm

Almighty God, amidst the tempest of my worries, I ask for Your peace – a peace that surpasses all understanding. When the worries of life try to drown me, let Your peace be the lifeboat that keeps me afloat.

When the walls seem to be closing in, be the spacious place to which I run. When everything feels overwhelming, may Your peace be the gentle whisper that calms my troubled heart.

Even as the winds of worry try to uproot me, anchor my soul in Your unchanging nature. Let me remember that no matter the magnitude of my worries, they are minuscule in comparison to Your grandeur and sovereignty. You hold the universe in Your hands, and surely, O Lord, You hold my concerns and cares too.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Prayer For Trust In God’s Plan

Sovereign Lord, when worry tries to convince me that my situation is out of control, help me to remember that You are in control. You have a plan for my life, intricately woven with purpose and intentionality.

Every setback, every challenge, every tear I’ve shed is known to You and is a part of Your divine blueprint for my life. Help me to trust not in my limited understanding, but in Your master plan.

Reassure my heart, Lord, that even when I don’t understand the path I’m on, You are guiding each step. Every situation that brings worry is an opportunity to witness Your power and providence.

As I lay down my worries, grant me the strength to pick up trust, holding firm to the belief that You work all things together for my good.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Romans 8:2: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

No Need To Fear

Majesty, my Lord and Savior, every sign of doubt, fear, dismay and worry will flee at the sound of Your great name! Jesus, worthy is the Lamb who sits high upon the throne.

I declare and decree that worry will not get the better of me. You are the solid foundation of my faith and there is no need to fear. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen!

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Psalm 23:4 – Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
