God has great things in store for you. But to receive them all, you need a strong spirit. Developing your spiritual life is necessary.
Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit?
A strong spirit sustains us through all troubles. It gives us spiritual confidence and strength. It makes us ready to overcome. It keeps us filled with joy and peace.
A strong spirit will get you through anything: physical and spiritual attacks, financial problems, relationship issues, and health issues.
3 John 2 “Dear friend, I pray and hope that all is well with you and that you are in good health, as you are well in spirit.”
Feed Your Spirit Well
What are you feeding yourself spiritually? What is your spiritual diet? Are you strong in the Word of God? Or are you feeding yourself, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest?
Matthew 4:4 “Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.”
Are you feeding your spirit a diet of fear, stress, doubt, violence, and sexual immorality? Or are you meditating on the Word of God and spending time in His presence?
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Jealously guard your spiritual life. Guard your relationship with God. Read the Bible daily so you keep your light on and so you receive daily renewal and cleansing.
Pray also in the spirit, for we do not wrestle against what is seen, but against forces of darkness in the heavenly places.
Psalms 119:130 The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.
John 15:3 Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Let Us Pray: A Strong Spirit
Heavenly Father, I love to worship your Name. I love to declare praises to You, for there is no god like You.
You are not a god made of silver or gold nor by human hands. But You are Jehovah, the Creator of the visible and invisible world.
Spiritual Life Under Attack
Oh, Father, my spiritual life is under attack. My prayer life is under attack. I have not fasted for a long time. I don’t make time to study your word anymore.
When I pray, I pray for the fear of the enemy. When I read the Bible, I read it out of obligation.
Father, You know that I want my spiritual life to flourish but I just don’t have the strength and zeal.
I want to be a prayer warrior but every time I start praying, I lack consistency. Oh Lord, help me. Give me the grace to take my spiritual life seriously.
Give Me Grace, Lord
Make me a prayer warrior and a watchman for my family. Give me the grace of intercession that I may pray until solutions are birthed. Lift me up from prayerlessness and fill me with passion for prayer.
Take me out from this emptiness and lack of your word and fill me with your word.
Bless me with the understanding of your word and give me love to study it, in the name of Jesus Christ.
It is written that the light shined into darkness, and darkness could not overpower it.
Let There Be Light
Let there be light in my Bible study life! Let there be light in my fasting life. Let there be light in my prayer life. Let there be light in my spiritual life.
In the name of Jesus Christ. I am an overcomer, I am a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me.
I am a prayer warrior. I am a world changer. I am a giant killer. The gates of hell will not prevail against me, in the name of Jesus Christ.
John 1:5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
Thank You for disarming and triumphing over the powers of darkness and making them a public spectacle.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that my prayerlessness and spiritual ignorance are broken. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Colossians 2:15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; He triumphed over them by Him.
