Monday – Seated in Victory
I am seated with Christ in heavenly places. Today, I look down at my problems from a place of victory, not up at them from a place of defeat.
A Monday Prayer: Seated in Victory
Heavenly Father,
I thank You, Oh Lord, for my identity in Christ.
Today, I stop looking at my circumstances from the ground level of my emotions and I choose to see them from Your perspective.
I declare that I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above every worry, every debt, and every mountain standing in my way.
Lord, shift my vision. Help me to look down at my problems from the place of victory You’ve already secured.
I am not fighting for victory; I am fighting from victory.
I walk through this day with the authority of a child of the King, knowing that because You have overcome the world, I can overcome this day.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Victory Over the World
1 John 5:4 For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Far Above All Rule
Ephesians 1:20–21 …he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked.
