As Christians, it is important for us to study and memorize God’s word (the Bible). The Bible provides assurance of salvation and it is authoritative in the sense that it contains the rights to prescribe beliefs and actions. Memorizing the Bible will set us straight when we are going astray and when trouble or temptation comes, we will be able to tackle it.

This means that the temple is no longer a building but it abides in us.
