Matthew 17:20

“And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for truly I say to you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.”

Mark 11:23

“I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.”

So, therefore, what is Faith?

According to the Bible:  faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). The question I ask you all today is how much faith do you have in Jesus?  I have been testing my faith a lot over the past couple years, in my studies at school, work and even in very tight situations when there seemed to be no solution and I can really testify that my God has never failed me.

My friends, you might be going through some really hard times and you believe that no one understands or you are even feeling lonely and that no one cares or you may be wondering where the next meal might be coming from. Well I have news for you today, Jesus can bring you out of these dark moments of your life and bring you into His light if you just believe in Him and have faith that all things are possible in Christ Jesus.

I am sure you have heard about the miracles Jesus did when he walked upon the earth as a man; he made the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame to walk and He even rose the dead. In addition, He fed the multitude with just two loaves of bread and five fishes. My friends, I have news for you: the same Jesus that did all these miracles  is the same Jesus who is still healing all His children from their infirmities and pain. You just need to have faith in Him and receive Him into your heart as Lord and Saviour.

No matter what fallacies the devil may throw at you, remember Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” This is one of the promises that Jesus gave unto us but how many of us believe and have faith in God’s word?

My beloved, Jesus died on the cross for us and shed his blood for our iniquities, so that we can have everlasting life with him in heaven.  Jesus is just waiting for you to accept him into your heart and for you to believe in him and put your faith in his words and all things will be alright with you, and your family or whatever situation you are going through: He is our redeemer.

So let faith arise in our lives and put Jesus first in all and everything that we do and let us all see the changes in our lives, our surroundings and in our families as we test our faith in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour!!
