Testimony – Miracle From Heaven
Hello, my name is Rachel Mutiara. I’m a church singer in Indonesia. Our songs are mostly in Indonesian. The source of inspiration for many of these hymns is the miracle that is my son, Nicholas Setiawan.
At the tender age of 2, we noticed something unusual about our son. He could not speak at all and his behavior was not normal, he would do some very strange things. We took him to doctors and children analysts. The result shocked us.
Nicholas was diagnosed with autism and ADHD. Despite this challenging revelation, we resolved to not lose hope. We committed ourselves to his therapy and medication, a journey filled with trials and tribulations that stretched over several years.
Our faith and hope were tested as the financial costs of his treatment mounted. However, we continued to believe in the possibility of a miracle, steadfast in our journey seeking a divine intervention for Nicholas.
The Hurt, The Pain
I received various recommendations, from food to how to care for the child. Related people also checked on our family history, if our family had a history of Autism or ADHD.
This caused a lot of pain to our family. My heart hurt that people would treat my son and family this way. We finally gave up trying to explain to people, friends, and family, because it’s useless.
When Nicholas was 4 years old, my husband quit his job to focus on Nicholas’s treatment. We sold our house, car and move to a small city.
The years passed by and we felt more hopeless. Nothing happened. All forms of therapy and medication could not cure him. Nicholas could barely look me in the eyes when I tried to communicate with him.
The Complaints
A good man from the therapy center told us to let our son attend a school for special children. There is nothing wrong with it, but we decided to take our son to a public school.
Later, we had to deal with complaints from parents and teachers about Nicholas’ behavior. My son could not find any suitable friends or groups in the school because many parents were afraid to let their children near my son.
Words of Blessings
When Nicholas was almost 5 years old, we attended a Praise and Worship ministry in what you may call a Mega Church. My husband and I were in tremendous grief.
During the altar call, as we were praying, a pastor we did not recognize approached us. Suddenly he said, “Do you know Albert Einstein? Just as Albert Einstein, your son will speak at the age of 5 years and he will become very smart.”
We were pleasantly surprised by the statement and, when the service was over, we looked for the pastor. The pastor did not remember anything he had said to us!
The Miracle Manifested
I want to let you know: Miracles happen! At the age of 5 years, our son began to speak, simple words at first. From day to day, his words grew more and more. He began to be able to communicate with us.
Every day is like a miracle. He began to show an interest in reading. In a short time, he started memorizing letters and arranging the letters into writing. By the time he was 7 years old, Nicholas was fluent-speaking and writing as a child his age!
At the age of 8, (when this was written), he has been attending one of the public schools in our city and he’s very intelligent. Has Nicholas recovered from Autism and ADHD? I do not know. What I do know is that Nicholas has been restored by Jesus Christ.
All of our songs tell of struggle, hope, surrender, and faith in Jesus Christ. One of our songs is titled “Jesus, I love You”. It is our first song in English. Thank you. God bless you all.

Kindly help me pray for my work, I have validation coming up any time. My boss has sidelined me because of my little education, I am a certificate holder and my God gave me this work. I feel sidelined in the office. Graduates are being given office duties while my boss tells me the work is stressful, I cannot manage. I feel people learn and I can learn. Help me in prayers. Amen

Thank you ABBA FATHER for many miracles that you did and still do in all of our lives so we can share our testimonies to glorify you, build up the kingdom of Heaven to Encourage us all so none of us never give up hope but keeping our eyes on you the Author and the finisher of all our lives, knowing that what we may go through can not compare to the Glory that will be Revealed in us! I LOVE THIS WEBSITE…IT IS SO INSPIRING AND UPLIFTING…I pray for my 2 yr old grandson who is not thriving as he should for his age…he is slowly gaining weight and growing, Praise the Lord, thanks to (the miracles of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and constant praying..now his teeth on top and bottom are not there and not coming in (please Abba, you too can place your miraculous hand in Cameron and perform any miracle)..for you are his Father and he is your beloved little boy…he doesn’t speak clearly at all and his vocabulary is limited; however, he is quite bright and alert and happy…his skin is scarred from his eczema and allergies, but I believe that he too will be healed from this disorder as well…he has seen many doctors and has had many tests and now they believe he should see a Genetic Pediatrician in August 2018…I believe in my heart of hearts, that through the precious blood of our Savior Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, and our Father God, that Cameron will continue to gain and grow and begin doing all the things a 2.5 yr old should be doing…for he is a child of the most high, who loves him even more than we do. I plead healing for my grandson, and I truly believe, especially after reading about the little boy Nicholas in Indonesia, that Cameron too will also be healed of anything that is preventing him from thriving and from his skin disorders and from speaking and jumping and his teeth being formed etc. because I believe that our Father in heaven is the Greatest Physician and that his love for us (especially the little children) goes beyond our wildest imagination..he sent His only Son to save us and by His Stripes Cameron will be healed..I say Amen and Amen !!! Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ !! Place your miraculous hand on Cameron and heal him…and give my daughter and son-in-law the peace they are in need of…my son-in-law suffered a breakdown several years ago and lost his job , shortly after buying a home, after much prayer and 16 months later and much debt, he found a job (nothing comparable salary wise, or work wise, but where I believe the Lord felt he should be to help him mentally and emotionally), but still they struggle tremendously, he fights with taking his medication everyday, but without it he is robotic and mindfully useless ..so you see they struggle constantly between his problems and Camerons and yet they remain strong in their faith…so I plead for our Father God to not only heal Cameron and release this pressure, but to send a financial windfall to them and to heal my son-in-law of the demons that haunt his mind daily…and please give my daughter some peace in knowing that this too shall pass and their life will get back to normalcy..our daughter is truly a miracle to us and everyone who meets her…you see she was sent to us after I had a tubal ligation..and the doctors called her miracle! So I know that the Lord sent her on this earth for a reason, even though her entire life she has met with adversity, heart issues and struggles, she remains strong in the Lord and her kindness and forgiveness is beyond compare..I know her trials and tribulations will bring her great glory soon..I know the God that we serve will bless her and her son and daughter and husband with great mercies and blessings and miracles of healing and financial and mental blessings.. Amen
2 Chronicles 7:14, is what GOD IS calling HIS children to do. We commit sin against GOD in some form everyday, and everyday we are to repent. Leviticus 26:40 states we are to repent of the sins of our fathers or ancestors, I do both in prayer, for we are to come before GOD with a pure heart. No bitterness, un-forgiveness, no anger, jealousy’s etc. Numbers 6:24-26. I Pray this helped in YASHUA’S MASTERFUL NAME. SHALOM SHALOM SHALOM
