Prayer And Bible Verses For Purity Of Spirit
Heavenly Father, I come before You today, seeking purity of spirit and the grace to cleanse my heart from any impurities. I desire to be a vessel that is wholly dedicated to You, free from the stains and distractions of this world. Lord, I know that I cannot achieve this purity on my own, but only through Your divine power and intervention.
Abba Father, you are the author and finisher of my faith, you knew me when I was within my mother’s womb.
You know my destiny and you have orchestrated my life so that I may be successful. You have been a faithful friend throughout my life.
Heavenly Father, many times I find myself being cynical and unkind. Sometimes, I let the cares of this world harden my heart.
Yet I know it shouldn’t be like this. My Lord, I pray that you give me a pure heart, as I am jaded by the hurts of this world.
Proverbs 22:11 He who loves purity of heart, and whose speech is gracious, will have the king as his friend.
I want to love as you love, and care as you care. I need that peace that passes all understanding. When I look at how carefree children are, I remember:
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Matthew 5:5 God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.
I Want Purity Of Spirit
God, I want to be that way. I want purity of spirit, I want humility. I want you to use me as a vessel of honor unto your name, so that whatever I do and whoever I speak with, they will see the Christ in me.
Abba, this world is not easy but you make my existence worth it. Father, help me to keep my eyes on you and guard my heart.
Teach me to look at every trial as an experience and learn from it so that I may be a blessing unto others with my testimony. I will conquer every obstacle, as you promised in your word.
Deuteronomy 28:13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail.
Colossians 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
Living in the Light of Your Presence
Lord, I long to live in the light of Your presence, experiencing the joy and peace that come from a life surrendered to You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, that I may be empowered to walk in Your ways, shunning the darkness and embracing the light. Let my life be a testimony to Your transforming power and a beacon of hope for those who are also seeking purity of spirit.
I pray, O Lord, that You would help me to fix my eyes on You, the author and perfecter of my faith. As I walk through each day, may my thoughts, words, and actions be centered on You and Your will for my life. Grant me a spirit that is focused on You, so that my heart may be steadfast in its pursuit of purity and holiness.
1 Peter 1:15-16 – But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
Colossians 3:2 – Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Give Me Wisdom As You Gave Solomon
Father, may I take my eyes off myself and my problems and give them fully to you. Lord. I want to be mindful of the plight of others.
Give me wisdom as you gave Solomon when he asked. Give me the wisdom to offer wise council to others.
Almighty Father, put the words in my mouth to build up and not break down. May I uplift and not destroy. I bring this tongue under subjection, Father.
I want to be kind, Lord and I look to you for this kindness. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Thank you Heavenly Father, my your name alone be glorified.
Father God I praise you because you are good and your mercies endureth forever Lord there is to much time I have forcus myself on my problems around me and not on the things that are important which taking my eyes 👀 of you and what you have already promised and that is you will always be with me and that you will never leave me nor forsake me so from now on my eyes 👀 and attention will be focused on because I already know that fighting for me so I have no need to worry nor fear all need to is to continue having faith and trust and believe that have got my back thank Jesus Amen 🙏
