My Savior, Lord, there is none like you. Your mighty power reigns over all the earth. We come before you on this precious day, to humbly beseech your protection upon the youths of the nation.

Guide them accordingly with your grace. Mold them into who they are destined to become. Help them to be ambitious and to be excellent young role models to their peers. But most of all, give them strength to repel bad company and negative influences.

Mark 9:42 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea…”

Walk with our Children

Protect them, Oh Heavenly Father, from violence, drug use, pedophiles, kidnappers and accidents as they go out to face this harsh, cruel world. We ask that you walk with them and never leave their sides.

Cover them on their going out and coming in, at work, at school, at play, while traveling or even just hanging out. Send your angels to guard and watch over them as they go out to face reality.

Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.”

Place them in your care

Father, we know that the children are the future leaders of our nation. Help them to concentrate on achieving their goals and aspirations.

Remind them that they are children of Your mighty kingdom and no force of darkness could ever harm them in your presence, where they belong.

Shield them against any negative words spoken against them. Bind any curse that is set upon them and their families.

Rescue them, Oh Mighty Father, from the struggles of their daily lives with Your grace. We thank you and declare that our children will be protected in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

Psalm 127:1-3 Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep. Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
